We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Stevenson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erica, how do you think about risk?
There is no way to achieve success as an entrepreneur without taking risks. I pair my risk with faith. The two go hand and hand. My faith keeps me strong and pushing forward no matter what obstacles come my way.
My biggest risk is not working a regular 9 to 5 and relying on my creativity and drive to live out my purpose as an entrepreneur to provide for my family.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to a beautiful rooftop restaurant and lounge with great music and views of Dallas, Tx.
Also I’d take them to the zoo and/or aquarium. I love zoos and aquariums because there is so much mystery in nature and animals that is yet to be discovered beyond what we see.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I thank my parents Zunoraine and Dana Holmes for my success and drive in life. They have continued to support my ideas since I was a young entrepreneur staring at the age of 6.
I lost my dad to cancer in 2020 and it has further fueled my passion and drive to reach success as an entrepreneur. I wish to live out his legacy and make home beyond proud.
