We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Chirinos Molero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In my home country, Venezuela, I am a lawyer and hold a Doctorate in Law. I have always felt a deep calling to learn and to support people through processes that are often difficult or confusing. I’m passionate about guiding, explaining, and providing tools that empower others to make informed and confident decisions.

When I emigrated to the United States, like many immigrants, I had to start from scratch, taking on physically demanding jobs that were very different from my academic background. However, deep down, I always knew I wanted to reconnect with a professional vocation that would offer me financial independence, career freedom, and, above all, purpose.

In 2020, after personally navigating the complexities of the healthcare system in this country, I realized that many Hispanics were facing the same challenges: they didn’t know how to access health insurance, were unaware of their rights and responsibilities, and faced a significant barrier—the language. That need made it clear to me that I could be a real bridge of support.

Thanks to my legal training and over 25 years of experience in public service, guidance, and problem-solving, I realized I could offer a comprehensive service focused on respect, clarity, and empathy. I obtained my license as a health and life insurance agent, and since then I’ve continued to grow. Today, I hold 14 state licenses that allow me to provide guidance in 14 states across the country. I’ve had the privilege of helping more than 500 individuals, both Spanish-speaking and native English speakers.

What I enjoy most is working in an educational way with each client. I make an effort to clearly and patiently explain how insurance works in the U.S., how it relates to their taxes, and how it can become a true tool for protection and stability for their families. It’s not just about selling a plan—it’s about insuring people with dignity and knowledge.

Starting my own business was not a coincidence, but a conscious and committed decision. It was the result of combining my personal journey, my vocation for service, and my genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those who trust me.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a comprehensive insurance agent, committed to offering much more than simply enrolling someone in a health or life insurance policy. I provide true, close, clear, and personalized advice. I strive to ensure that each person understands their options, makes informed decisions, and feels supported every step of the way.

What truly sets me apart in this business is that I don’t see myself nor act as a salesperson. I see myself as an advisor: someone who listens, guides, and looks out for each client’s best interests as if they were family. Although I have had the privilege of serving hundreds of people, I maintain direct and personalized contact with each one. I enjoy personally attending to them, learning their stories, and offering real solutions not generic formulas.

One of the things I value most about my business is helping people find the right and appropriate policy for them, even if they have specific health conditions that complicate the choice. Knowing how to read between the lines, research, and find the best option to protect them is something I do with commitment and responsibility. I am always attentive to their needs, following up on processes, claims, and any requirements that arise along the way. Knowing they are supported makes a big difference.

I take great pride in being able to support people during difficult times, especially those facing critical diagnoses. Knowing that thanks to good advice they can access treatments, financial peace of mind, or simply not worry about claims or coverage, confirms to me that this work goes far beyond the technical it is also a calling, a service that allows me to stand beside those who need it most.

And I enjoy this service so much that, in many cases, I end up forming friendships with my clients. The bond goes beyond professionalism: with many of them, we even come together in prayer, sharing faith, hope, and confidence that everything will be okay. That human connection feeds my soul.

The path was not easy. Preparing for the licensing exam while working was very demanding. Many told me I would have to take it several times that it was normal. But I decided not to let fear take over. I focused, prepared with discipline, and above all, with faith. I passed on my first try. It was a very stressful period but also full of lessons.

I learned that when you truly want something, focus, consistency, and a clear strategy are key. Challenges don’t disappear, but they can be overcome with preparation, purpose, and confidence in what you carry inside.

I want the world to know that behind my work is a deeply human and compassionate woman. I have faced many hardships since childhood: losses, family tragedies, and moments that have marked my life. But all of that, far from breaking me, has made me stronger. It has taught me to look at others with empathy, to put myself in their place, and to act from the heart. That human strength has been my anchor and my driving force through every scenario I have faced.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit me in Dallas, my mission would be to give them an unforgettable week, full of experiences that showcase the energy, history, flavor, and warmth this city has to offer.
We’d start with a walk through Deep Ellum, exploring its murals, street art, independent shops, and live music. Then we’d have lunch at Pecan Lodge because there’s no better way to say welcome to Texas than with some authentic BBQ.
In the afternoon, we’d visit one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. I always recommend it because it’s a moving and meaningful stop, rich in history.
If my friend is Venezuelan like me, a stop at one of the local Venezuelan restaurants like Arepa TX or Zaguán is a must. There we’d enjoy a good arepa, a tequeño, or a pabellón criollo that tastes just like home.
We’d also head to Truck Yard, a laid-back spot with food trucks, live music, and a relaxed vibe that I really love.
If they’re into thrills and adrenaline, then without a doubt, we’d spend a day at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. Roller coasters, extreme rides, excitement it’s a guaranteed good time with stories and laughs to take home.
Another day would be all about nature. We’d visit the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, a perfect place to relax and take in views of the lake. We’d also explore the Arts District, visit the Dallas Museum of Art, and take a stroll through Klyde Warren Park, where the city comes alive with activities, music, and food trucks.
A day trip to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards would definitely be on the list. Walking among cowboys, watching the cattle drive, and soaking in that authentic Texas heritage is a one-of-a-kind experience. We’d finish the day with a Tex-Mex dinner at El Ranchito.
To wrap up the week on a high note, we’d enjoy a special dinner at Tei-An to showcase the city’s culinary diversity and then head up to Reunion Tower to take in the illuminated skyline. That moment of reflection is perfect for giving thanks for everything we’ve experienced.
What I love most about Dallas is how it balances the fast pace of a big city with the warm soul of its people. Here, I’ve built not just a life but a community.
As an insurance agent, I have the privilege of supporting many people during important and sometimes difficult moments. Sharing that human, compassionate, and deeply real side of Dallas with a friend would also be an essential part of the journey

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
As a woman of faith, I recognize God as my primary spiritual and material provider, and the author of everything that happens in my life. To Him I give all the glory for every achievement, every open door, and every firm step I’ve been able to take.

I’m deeply grateful to my parents, who instilled in me the values of hard work, education, and integrity. Though my father is no longer physically present, his example continues to guide me. His teachings and loving presence remain with me always.

To my husband, thank you for being a constant and essential support. When we join efforts, we are a strong team and together we have seen the fruits of unity, perseverance, and faith.

To my children, who are my greatest inspiration and motivation every effort is worth it because of you. My journey is the legacy I hope to leave you: that with faith, work, and dignity, anything is possible.

To my sister, now in heaven, I offer a special tribute. Her spirit of resilience and strength, even through illness, deeply inspired me during this new beginning. Her courage continues to accompany me from beyond.

To all my clients who have placed their trust in me over the years thank you. You make my work meaningful and possible. Your confidence, referrals, and loyalty allow me to keep going every day. You have my eternal gratitude.

And of course, to the “angels” that God placed along my path those people who helped guide me into the wonderful world of insurance I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You were divine instruments at key moments in my life.
