We had the good fortune of connecting with Donielle Manuel, MBA and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Donielle, what principle do you value most?
At the Elle Maxwell Agency, it is important that we stay connected to our mission which is “To enhance our clients personal and professional brand to help them authentically live a life of their dreams”. In the world of social media, sometimes the noise of a false reality can cloud people’s perception of what a person should be, should look like, and how they should live their life. We value being able to make a connection with our clients and helping them create a brand that will highlight their true self.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Originally, I worked as a fashion stylist and creative director for many client projects. I’ve had the opportunity to style many clients for things ranging from branding photoshoots, video and television, as well as everyday life events. I enjoy being able to merge my creative skills with my business background. With being a creative, we believe that there is no limit to your creativity. Although this can be a good thing, there have been challenges presented when not having a niche and, “wanting to do it all”. Being able to have so many great experiences as well as hardships, with the assistance of my team, we’ve been able to combine our business experience and add it to the creative foundation of the agency. Our team understands our “why” which helps with how we provide service to our clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like to consider myself a foodie in my spare time 🙂 so I usually pick locations and things to do by the food and the vibes of the place. I’m also big on being able to to partake in self-care and relaxing activities. A weekend would include a combination of the both. A massage, facial and if the weather permits some good food and pretty drinks on a patio. I use Yelp a lot, @Dallasites101, Dallaslovelist, and @Dallasblackcom a lot to find new places to try.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My EM Executive team: Erica Miller, CMRP Director of Talent Management and Brandon Manuel, MBA Director of Sales & Marketing. They have helped tremendously with the elevation of the Elle Maxwell brand.
