We had the good fortune of connecting with Dee Dee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dee Dee, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
As rewarding as parenting is, it is also one of the most difficult jobs one can have. One of the most important things I’ve chosen to do as a parent is encourage my children to pave their own way and make sure to impact others while doing so. Be different. Be “you”. Most importantly, respect others no matter what. The way your character shows up in a room will say a lot.

What should our readers know about your business?
Dee Dee’s Daiquiris launched in July 2020 during the rise of the pandemic. Liquor stores were still considered essential, which was great for our new business. We are a Texas owned, drink mix company. Our drink mixers have been sold across the country and are located in several stores across the state of Texas.

We are most proud of the connections we’ve made with other small businesses in this industry. We love seeing our friends and family enjoy our product in their homes during gatherings and on social media. Consistency is whats most important for our business. People have to see your product and know it can create a great time with great people.

We have received excellent feedback on the quality of our Signature Strawberry and Classic Margarita Mixer. Get ready! Our mango flavored mixer will be launching next month! It pairs well with our other two flavors and your favorite brand of alcohol.

Because our product is a mixer, it can be accompanied by your favorite alcohol beverage made any way you like!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
-The fun would begin in Downtown Dallas! Theres so much to see and do, not to mention the nice hotels perfect for a staycation. (Preferably the Omni Downtown or the Sheraton).

-An evening to enjoy some live music and good food at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving would be next.

-Some of the favorite eats would be:
Rodeo Goat, TNT (Tacos and Tequila), and Public School 214 for brunch.

-Hanging out in Deep Ellum over the weekend and dabble in a few cigar bars across DFW would be mandatory.

-A feel for New Orleans style frozen daiquiris, a great vibe, and cajun po’boys at the Daiquiri Shoppe in Carrollton.

-Our most important experience would be the Margarita Mile!
