We had the good fortune of connecting with Dasjaevian (JD The Connect) Dixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dasjaevian (JD The Connect), what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is being intentional about my goals. Consistent goal-planning has led me to emerge in the business world. Every goal that I’ve set for myself is written down in my dream book/spiritual journal. I then pray over my goals and work hard to achieve them. That formula has been the key factor for my success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a fitness trainer, I bring a holistic approach in helping others live a more healthier lifestyle. My focus is not only on fitness but the different aspects of our every day lives such as mental health, physical health, emotional health, and nutrition. I value learning and researching different strategies to help others overcome challenges that we all face throughout our lives. I’ve learned that being balanced in those areas help us become more motivated to be physically active and successful.

I am most excited about the lives that I will continue to impact, partnership opportunities, and becoming the best version of myself. I know that my diligence will lead to long-term success.

I’ve been on this fitness journey for 9 years. Working out started off as something I did not enjoy doing then turned into a passion of mine in 2013. The more I worked out, the more I started to see growth within myself. Consistency, self-love, and discipline has played a major role in where I am today.

It has definitely been a challenging journey. I’ve had many ups and downs but have persevered through them all.

Learning is something I hold to a high value. I’ve learned so many things about myself and others throughout the journey. One of the key lessons is that we can achieve anything in life once we overcome the fears and doubts that we store in our mind. Our mind is the most powerful tool that we have as humans. I’ve also learned that no one has everything completely figured out when it comes to fitness or anything in life. It’s never too late to turn our life around for the better.

I want the world to know that I take what I have and make the best of it. My brand has been built around a “just do it” mentality towards life. I will inspire millions of people globally through the work that I do as a fitness trainer and philanthropist.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Sunday: Brunch at Soiree Coffee Bar & tour Dallas Cowboys stadium Monday: Breakfast at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
Tuesday: Happy Hour at Torchy’s Tacos
Wednesday: Shopping at Allen Premium Outlets
Thursday: Dinner at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille
Friday – Cafe 214 in Addison instead of Happy Hour at Parliament
Saturday: Early morning run at Katy Trail then daiquiri shoppe & explore Downtown Dallas at night

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
