We had the good fortune of connecting with Darel Hope and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Darel, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Reliability. Reliability and being Dependable is one of the things I look for the most. Knowing that when you ask something of someone, they will get it done and get it back to you on time and when they say they will. Reliability is the Key part in having a successful project.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It’s been a long tough journey, through different lanes. A lot of ups and downs but my first love is Music. It will always be music. My main profession is producer/ audio engineer. I started off as a rapper/ lyricist writing songs. Soon after that I decided to go to school for audio engineering at Collin College. After years of working on my craft I was reintroduced to the electronic music scene and at that point is when I felt I had the knowledge and information to start producing my own music. Now I have F. A.M which includes Media and soon  Apparel. Im very excited to see how far I can take my brand and my FAM.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In DFW area you have to first go get Trumpo tacos. Second we would probably go to Fort Worth to the Water Gardens Because that’s just a cool thing to see. Then we would most likely go to a show at Stereo Live Dallas Or Club Itll do. Arlington has Texas stadium for Rangers game and Six Flags for the amusement park fix. They’re also a lot of comedy clubs. Dfw Is big so you can really find something to fit any style or personality.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A huge shout out to my mother Diana Davis. Wthout her believing in me as a child and supporting whatever I decided to put my mind to, I wouldn’t have even believed that I could create my own. Parents love is Everything!
