Hi Danielle, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I realized I was tired of dedicating my time and energy to building someone else’s dream. Over the years, I learned the importance of self-belief and hard work, often seeing my contributions fuel someone else’s success. This inspired me to start my own business, where I could focus on the unique needs of small business owners by offering customized services and education. My goal has always been to create a boutique-style business that allows me to provide truly personalized service. I believe that personal connection is the foundation of any successful business relationship.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
With nearly a decade of public accounting experience, I have honed my skills in breaking down complex financial matters and educating clients on the importance of meticulous record-keeping and compliance. My work spans across various industries, including professional services, real estate, construction, start-ups, entertainment, mental health practitioners, and content creators. I’ve successfully provided a range of services, including tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and outsourced CFO services, always with a focus on tailored solutions that meet my clients’ unique needs.

What sets me apart is my relentless dedication to providing expert guidance and crafting solid financial strategies that empower my clients for the future. I understand that every client has distinct goals, and I’m committed to helping them achieve these goals with personalized support and strategic planning. My approach combines professional expertise with a genuine passion for building long-lasting relationships based on trust and reliability.

Having faced and overcome various challenges, I’ve learned the value of perseverance and the strength that comes from having a solid support system. This personal touch informs my work, driving me to deliver not just expert services but also a commitment to my clients’ success, building a brighter financial future together.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Personally, I am a big foodie and love trying new restaurants, and Dallas is definitely the place for that! I would want to take my friend on a food tour of Dallas with some culture sprinkled in. This would include some great breakfast or brunch spots like Odd Fellows, Smithy, and Ida Claire; a few lunch options like Henry’s Majestic, Brentwood, and Jose; as well as some dinner vibes like Barcelona, Fortune House, The Henry, and Jack and Harry’s. I would definitely want to show them some Dallas favorites like the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Aquarium, and White Rock Lake! I would also take them to Pan African Connection, which is a local bookstore and community center in Dallas. There are so many places to eat and things to do in Dallas, but I think this would be a great start!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family is my greatest motivation and my strongest support system. With roots in a small village in Nigeria, my parents made the brave decision to migrate to the United States, leaving everything behind for the hope of a better life. Their courage and sacrifice continually inspire me, and I am deeply humbled by the values and resilience they have instilled in me.
