We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When we bought our first Rottweiler, the experience was unfortunately a very negative one. We felt misled, unsupported, and realized how overwhelming it could be for families who simply want to bring home a healthy, well-bred puppy. That experience stuck with us, and we said to ourselves that no one else should ever have to go through that.

That’s what motivated us to start our own business with a focus on quality breeding, excellent customer service and a genuine love for the Rottweiler breed. We wanted to create an experience where families feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way and where the well-being of the dogs always comes first.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I graduated from South Carolina State University with a bachelors degree in Marketing and began my career in sales, gaining experience in both inside and outside roles. I later transitioned into the construction industry, where I worked my way up from crew leader to construction project management, building leadership skills and operational expertise along the way. After being diagnosed with cancer, I shifted my focus toward education, teaching high school business classes and using my professional background to inspire and prepare the next generation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Start the week with some relaxing fishing at White Rock Lake or Lewisville Lake, enjoying the outdoors and a chance to catch something early. Check out the some amazing barbecue at the famous Terry Black’s or Goldees barbecue. Maybe head over to Texas Live the next day in Arlington for the lively atmosphere, games, and entertainment. We can go explore the Fort Worth Zoo and go to Six Flags, depending on the mood. It’s the perfect mix of outdoors, great food, and fun activities .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

A year ago, when I was battling cancer, my wife was the rock of our family. Through every hard day, she carried us with her strength, faith, and love. She’s a big part of the reason we started Dub Kennels her support and belief in our vision helped turn a difficult chapter into something meaningful. None of this would be possible without her.
