Hi Courtney Michele, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued this career because it offered me the perfect blend of customer service and creativity as a social media influencer for Coach. I genuinely enjoy engaging with customers and creating captivating content to showcase Coach’s unique leather goods. It’s fulfilling to host customers and provide them with an unforgettable Coach experience while also expressing my creativity through styling and maintaining the brand’s social media presence. This role allows me to work with a luxury brand and contribute to styling clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories for both men and women. Being able to utilize my creative talents in my daily work brings me immense joy and satisfaction.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m Courtney Michele, and I’m proud to work as a sales associate and social media influencer for Coach at Legacy West in Plano, TX, alongside an amazing team. What sets me apart is my ability to transform a traditional 9-5 retail job into a dream opportunity for introverted fashion enthusiasts, fostering an environment where simplicity meets luxury. Coordinating exclusive events like the private shopping experience with NFL players and local celebrities, in collaboration with Club Coach and Lockett-Up Public Relations, has been a highlight. This was one of my personal goals to get our Dallas Cowboys in Coach! Shopping is for men too and it should be as exciting for men to shop. Club Coach and Lockett-Up Public Relations (big shout out to my girl Christen Lockett) rolled out the red carpet with this very exclusive shopping experience. Food and beverages for the event was locally sourced from Haywire with signature cocktails and ambiance was set by a well known DJ (shoutout DjSaucyD, my brother from another mother), bag painter, Lesli Marshall (shoutout to Lesli, my dear friend) and a cigar roller service. A one of a kind event and it was absoluting amazing! It’s not always easy, but every sleepless night is worth it, knowing that I’m connecting people and creating unique experiences. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Normally when my friends come in town, it’s for a nice two day weekend, so here’s a two day itinerary.

Day 1: We’ll start with breakfast at Bread Winners Café & Bakery followed by a visit to the Dallas Museum of Art. Lunch will be at Hard Eights for authentic Texas BBQ. In the afternoon, we’ll explore Klyde Warren Park and grab a bite from a food truck. For dinner, we’ll enjoy the rotating views at Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck and then stroll through Deep Ellum for its vibrant street art and live music venues. Probably land in BitterEnds to finished a night of fun.

Day 2: We’ll kick off the day with breakfast at Breakfast Brothers before delving into history at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Lunch will be at Haywire in Legacy West some nice bites and handcrafted cocktails. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the unique shops and galleries of the Bishop Arts District. For dinner, we’ll indulge in Italian-inspired cuisine at Lucia followed by a performance at the historic Majestic Theatre.
