Hi Coach Dee, how does your business help the community?
Coach Dee and her brand Dee’Tox Life Coaching Services LLC is helping the world through inner healing and self-love. When I spiritually birthed this business in 2018, I had just awakened to the most transformational experience of my life. I was healing from past childhood traumas and experiences that had me stuck in fear and depression. Self-love opened my heart and soul to a world of limitless abundance and opportunities, creating so much love and happiness in my life. Now, I choose to share it all with the world! I’ve been growing a dope-ass group on Facebook called the Dee’Toxin Tribe. We are a group of eagles soaring to great heights through self-love and positive mindset work! It is a space of unconditional love and support. After having a dream one night (January 2019), I started this community after I launched my business. In this dream, I was guided spiritually to start a community on Facebook for others to heal just like me. Here we are two years later, GROWING with almost 1.9K members. I am so happy I followed that intuitive message from my dream!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Dee’Tox Life Coaching Services was started in 2018 after discovering her path of purpose through self-love and inner healing. The company is based in Dallas, TX. DeVonn Coleman (AKA Coach Dee) became a Certified Life Coach after working in the mental health and social services sector for over 13 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Psychology. Coach Dee does a lot of introspective work on not only herself but also her clients. As the CEO, she has learned how in-depth and detrimental improving one’s mental health is in living a happy life. Coach Dee discovered that if the roots of one’s problems and maladaptive behaviors can be evaluated through self-analysis, the mindset can be changed to create healthier habits and a better life filled with purpose. To understand yourself deeper, you must be willing to confront or acknowledge deeply rooted traumas or pain. Dee’Tox Life Coaching Services LLC is a holistic business that does just that. Coach Dee helps others discover themselves through inner child work and healing. She coaches people from all over the world into self-love. This gives others the capability to soar to greater heights as their self-confidence skyrockets. Coach Dee cleaned up her past and started teaching other women (and some men) how they can do the same, especially those in the LGBTQ community. She has watched their healing unfold to pure happiness and inner peace! She is committed to dedicating the rest of her professional and personal life to helping others heal past pain and trauma, be who they authentically are, and genuinely LOVE THEMSELVES. Dee’Tox Life Coaching Services is unique in the fact that Coach Dee keeps it all the way real from a space of love. She offers value and understands how to communicate patiently and with love to those inner broken parts that are fragile to our souls.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It’s been pretty wild since COVID hit, so that’s been a strange one to assess lately. There is this cool museum I recently heard about that many ladies are talking about called the “Black Girl Magic Museum,” which is a pop-up museum that showcases Black women who have paved the way over history. I believe it is located in Mesquite, TX. That would be a good start! For those into art, I have a dope friend (Molly Syndor) who has a unique art exhibit in Dallas at the Cedars Union Art Incubator. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I recently released my first book, Coach Dee’s Playbook: Five Ways to Become a Champion of Self-Love (available on Barnes and Noble), and in the book, I dedicated this unfolding and divine manifestation to my wife, Elle Hall-Coleman, and one of my best friends, Sandy Iro. These two beautiful souls saw greatness in me when I didn’t see it in myself. They’ve been my backbone of authentic support for almost a decade, and I am forever grateful for them. I also must shoutout my cousin, Chris (May he Rest in Power), because his unexpected death in 2014 shifted the trajectory in my life towards healing my deeply rooted inner wounds; he is a huge reason I am living in these loving days full of happiness & purpose.
