We had the good fortune of connecting with CMC Collective and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CMC, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is seeing people from all walks of life come together through our shared passion for cars. Whether it’s at our events, on our socials, or just out in the community, it means a lot to watch ‘the collective’ grow and have a positive impact on Cyprus’ car culture. That sense of unity, purpose, and progress is what drives us.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our work revolves around creating a space for car enthusiasts in Cyprus to connect, express themselves, and push the culture forward. What sets us apart is that we’re not just about flashy cars or big meets — we’re about community, consistency, creativity, and providing experiences that people in Cyprus have never had before. That’s one of our biggest aims: to bring fresh energy and ideas into the scene and elevate it in ways that haven’t been done locally.

We’re most proud of how organic our growth has been. Everything we’ve done — from meets and collaborations to content and community projects — has come from genuine passion and grassroots effort. It definitely hasn’t been easy. At the beginning, we had to prove ourselves, deal with skepticism, and work around limited resources. But we stuck to the vision, stayed active, and kept building trust in the scene.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that showing up consistently matters. Respect is earned over time, not overnight. Also, you have to listen to your community — their input shapes the direction and keeps things alive.

At the end of the day, We want people to know that we’re doing this for the love of the culture. We’re not chasing trends or trying to be something we’re not. We’re just passionate people who believe in making a difference — and we’re here to stay.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The collective wouldn’t be what it is without the people who support us — the ones who show up to our meets and events, both official and unofficial. Friends who have always been there to help out behind the scenes, our amazing photographer and friend, Keki Spec (@keki_spec on ig) who was never absent at anything/anywhere and I’m especially grateful to the wider car culture here in Cyprus for recognizing and appreciating what we’re trying to build. Their energy and love for the scene fuel everything we do.
