We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Bernhard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
There isn’t anything I’ve really accomplished that I am proud of that didn’t include taking a big risk. I often get asked, “How do I know if the risk is worth it?” And the answer is you don’t. Returns and results are never guaranteed, but you set yourself up for loss of so much if you’re not willing to lose some.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have a Facebook ads and Funnels agency. We work with mostly online coaches in all industries and e-commerce. My career has always been in the marketing industry. I have been a freelancer and worked client-side as a marketing director at a law firm where I hired other agencies and freelancers to help us. There is a common trend in this high-paid industry to charge a lot of money and do poor work with a big lack of communication. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my agency of really talented people and give my clients the best experience while working with us. I truly believe that you can have it all. I pursue that in my personal and professional life and I’m beyond proud of the high-touch experience we provide our clients with constant communication, education and updates for our clients so they never have to wonder what the process is, what to expect and where their investments are going.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a true Texan, we would start any good day with coffee and breakfast tacos. Migas breakfast tacos to be exact. I love hiking and being outside and one of my favorite things about Texas is our wonderful weather most of the year. So, we would definitely walk and hike the best trails. Lunch would probably be somewhere healthy and delicious and if we’re up to it, we might end up on a rooftop bar for drinks with a view in the afternoon. I love trying new dinner places and any performing arts show. I love them all!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Amanda Kolbye, my business coach has been the biggest support in my success. Amanda is an incredible business coach full of knowledge and so great at providing guidance and support along the way. I think the biggest impact she made for me was that she always believed in me so much more than I believed in myself. It changed how I did everything and I could never be grateful enough.
