We had the good fortune of connecting with Casi Caton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Casi, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
With my businesses I impact my community in very different ways.
In regards to HER Network LLC, I generate opportunities for women to connect with and support each other. I create monthly interactions, get togethers & fundraising/good deeds, have a Live Stream weekly with having mentions of updates, encouragement and answering hard questions to make you really connect with yourself and others again. I like to say, “If you aren’t working, your business doesn’t work,” meaning, be sure you are taking care of YOU, if you over extend yourself there is no way what you are involved with will be as good as it could be! By building connections with like-minded women it contributes to the personal and professional development of each individual involved & can grow their business by gaining the exposure! It has even given ladies the push and encouragement they needed to become an entrepreneur themselves! I love giving people an avenue to connect in person again.
Purpose of HER Network LLC: To support, promote & generating opportunities for connection—— We Help Eachother Rise.
In regards to Coverage by Casi, I absolutely LOVE what I can do to help people, I believe I impact the community in a very real way. Health Coverage can be an overwhelming subject for many families, individuals or business owners. I do not expect anyone to know what they are looking at or to really know how health insurance works. As your Licensed Insurance Agent, I am a resource to navigate coverage options and I elaborate on exactly how the plan works. Right now over 50% of people in debt in the U.S. are in debt because of medical bills. I do what I do to try and save families from that every day. I do free quotes and consultations to help find the best health coverage situation for families who are moving across state lines (I am licensed in over 15 states and always adding more), going through moments in life with a new job, wanting to become self employed, have work open enrollment, etc.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
HER Network LLC is not just a Facebook group to join and catch an event or two when you can, this is a place to really connect and get out of your comfort zone. I am building a community of like-minded women who can do life together. I love to meet new people and I am able to coordinate with different business owners to make events happen! Every person is different and has different ideas so every event is different as well. I create HER Monday After Hours, Taco Tuesdays and Sunday Brunches, there have also been others sprinkled in as well that I have partnered with to generate more opportunities to get together such as, HER Safety- women’s self defense training courses, chances to be a vendor, etc. It has not been easy by any means, I am the one who makes it all happen so you can imagine from Media to the event coordinating, to running the events I love the challenge it brings and this is no ordinary “networking” group, I want to help everyone see how valuable they are and how we can make life exciting and fun while being serious entrepreneurs who run a business. I overcome challenges by being flexible and open-minded. I have to be able to adapt if things don’t go exactly the way I want. Life is unpredictable, but I do what I can to have a plan. I live by a tight calendar, I plan out 6 months in advance and then once 6 months is filled I move to planning the rest of the 12 months. I have found not many people live by a strict schedule so that has been one challenge I have faced. I have a few solutions on the horizon that I believe will help with that, a website is on the way! I am very excited to launch on November 1st of this year! This will help stream line a lot of what I do and will allow be to grow even more! Right now my events are located in East Texas, but I have hopes to host events all across the country! I told myself in the beginning I am going to not put a cap on it and will see where it goes. I created this business to Help Eachother Rise, I am able to do that by giving people a platform to connect and reach others they may have never known. I love that i bring people together.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have lived in Tyler Texas about 2 years now, I’m a NW Arkansas transplant so I’m a big outdoors lover. I grew up in the ozark mountains where we had lakes and mountains. Here I try to find similar places, Tyler State Park is where I’ll go for some trail walking and a nice view of the lake. There is also kayaking and canoeing. Any chance I can I’ll be finding a way to be outside. The Grove has a nice outdoor seating area with a small stage for live music and there are games available. My events! If you can catch one are a great way to meet other ladies and enjoy a time with a great group of people.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are a few people who I want to thank and recognize in my journey so far, I couldn’t have done it without you, the first being my family.
My parents have helped me in so many ways, they have mad it possible for me to have the opportunity to be an entrepreneur, without them I would not be where I am today. My brothers have always had a big impact on what I do, they are all very diverse in how they go about their lives, each affecting me in a different way. My oldest brother has always been someone I can share my updates with my businesses and he has always been one to celebrate the little advancements and has been one of my biggest encouragers, he even recently started a business himself, Jesus-Centered Speed/Sport Training. Located in NW Arkansas he impacts people daily whether it is a student, or an adult, Cade has always been the best example of how to show kindness and how to extend patience to everyone. My brother Zach, located just outside of Dallas, Texas, has been someone in my life who reminds me that doing things the way I want won’t always be popular with everyone, he reminds me of who I am and why I do what I do. Zach helps me see the bigger picture, and for that I am incredibly grateful. My brother Casey, the most overachieving human I have ever met in real life. Casey is stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is in JAG. From the beginning Casey is the one I will always be chasing. We are the most competitive with each other, whether it was who could build the best fort in the woods, to who can win at Sorry, who can win at kickball, basketball, putt-putt, who got the better grades, who got the most scholarships, who could excel in college.. As children he drove me crazy, this he knows and we laugh about it now, but today he is the one who challenges me the most. He owns multi-homes in multiple states, he is constantly reading and looking for income revenues with his business. He challenges me on different ways to grow what I do and was instrumental to getting HER Network LLC’d.
I would love to thank Amy Boron my book keeper out of Michigan! She has left her job to do her business full time and I love that! She has been HUGE at getting my books in order with my businesses and could not have done it without her!
There are endless women owned businesses who have hosted, sponsored and supported my endeavors in so many ways I could have a list of hundreds. Im just incredibly thankful to everyone who has helped my make it to where I am!
