Meet Carolina Moua | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Moua and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carolina, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think the most important factor behind my success is my passion for what I do. The most important ingredient in your brand is love, love for what you do! Because, you can always see the difference when things are done with love and passion. Love what you do is my advice for your success! And, have clear your “WHY”, if you have clear your purpose you will continue regardless of all the challenges.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think what sets every brand apart from others is your purpose . The purpose of my brand is, make you smile! make your heart smile! With my art, I want to recognize our growth and evolution, acknowledging that we are all artworks in progress. And, at the same time, we are the artist of our own life; moving, growing, learning. We are all in a state of continuous evolution. We are all here to learn how to smile with our hearts!
What I have learn so far is: Trust, trust the way, trust yourself; be confident on yourself; be loyal to yourself; let it be, there is always something better that is waiting for you. Love what you do!
I created this brand when I was a child, when I understood Art brings happiness to my life, when I understood Art makes me smile. Then, four years ago, I started questioning my self I find out this memory was there. That’s the moment when I decided to shared my art with the world!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you like to run as I do, got to White rock or the Katy trail for a fun run. If you like hamburgers, got to honor Bar, I love that burger!
If you like sushi go to Uchi Ba, good sushi and very nice place!
if you like to try new things, go to Loro, is an Asian BBQ place, very nice and relax!
If you like art, I highly recommend the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center.
If you have kids got to the Perot Museum.
A cool neighborhood to visit is Bishop Art! You can find nice restaurant and local shops.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God. I really think God has being shaping my path to be able to be where I am today. He had open ways and He has surrounded me with amazing people that has help me growth. My family, my friends and the incredible women that I have had the opportunity to know in my life has a lo to do with this success, but This time I want to give all the recognition to him.
