Meet Brooke Beland | Speech Therapist & Mobile Bartending Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Beland and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brooke, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always loved the energy that comes with people gathering — the laughter, the connections, and those little moments that turn into lifelong memories. For me, a good drink has never just been about alcohol; it’s about the experience.
I started this business because I’ve always loved drinking culture — the creativity of cocktails, the artistry behind presentation, and the way a signature drink can set the vibe of a night.
I thrive on networking and bringing people together. Bartending gives me the chance to connect with so many different personalities and spark conversations that might not happen otherwise.
I wanted to be the light of the party — not just serving drinks, but creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed, celebrated, and taken care of.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart from other businesses is that we don’t just bring bartending — we bring mobile bartending to you. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or private event, we make sure the drinks and the experience come straight to your celebration. One of the things I’m most proud of is that we created something no one else in this space offers: mocktails for kids alongside cocktails for parents. This way, everyone — from adults to children — feels included and has fun.
That idea came from a collaboration with one of my other businesses, and it’s something I really believe adds an extra layer of joy to any event. The road to get here wasn’t easy. In fact, one of my biggest challenges was not being able to get a liquor license when I originally wanted to open my own bar. Instead of letting that stop me, I turned it into an opportunity. That’s how the idea for building a mobile bartending business came alive.
Now, the model is simple: you provide the liquor, and I bring the creativity with fancy, signature drinks that make your event unforgettable. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is that setbacks can actually lead to better ideas. What feels like a “no” in the moment can redirect you toward something even more innovative and aligned with your strengths. At the end of the day, I want the world to know that my brand is about more than just pouring drinks — it’s about creating an experience where everyone feels celebrated, connected, and included.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Begin the morning immersed in creativity at the Dallas Arts District, wandering through the timeless beauty of the Nasher Sculpture Center and the curated collections at the Dallas Museum of Art. For lunch, step into the heart of the city at Klyde Warren Park, where chef-driven food trucks transform casual dining into a vibrant culinary experience beneath the skyline.
As the sun sets, indulge in an evening of refined flavors at Sixty Vines, where wine is celebrated like art itself, paired with seasonal plates in an atmosphere designed for savoring.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a huge thank you to my stepdad, Neil, who owns Added Home Value. He’s been one of the biggest supporters of my entrepreneurial journey from the very beginning. Neil has always understood my business ideas and encouraged me to keep pushing forward, even when others didn’t quite understand my vision.
Being an entrepreneur comes with plenty of challenges and moments where you feel like no one else “gets it.” But Neil truly does — he understands the struggles and the mindset of being a business owner. Having someone like him in my corner, reminding me that I’m not alone in this, has made all the difference.
