We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittani Hudson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittani, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my business was fueled by my passion for creating simple, yet delectable desserts that are not only delicious but beautiful. Desserts are one of my favorite meals, which I choose to eat first. The vision of making my desserts is steeped in love and passion, which has led me to my purpose. It’s gratifying when my customers rave about their custom desserts because only top-quality ingredients from the base, filings, sauces, and garnishes are used. Life’s celebrations call for one-of-a-kind custom orders from baby showers, anniversaries, and just because and I can make those occasions memorable.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is one of a Kind. When you think Fancy you already think above and beyond but when you think FANCYWORKS DESIGNS it have a little more bang for the industry and any special occasions. FANCYWORKS DESIGNS breaks down to she is fancy, she works and bring all kinds of designs to new and old clients, occasions and opportunities for corporate events. What I’m most proud of? Is beating the odds being a young womab, mother and business owner who is in school, work and be a mom 24/7 and able and still learning how to juggle it all but to anyone second guessing it …I’m hear to tell you it can be done and once you see GOD open the door the blessings become unlimited. Was it easy?Nothing in life is easy, but everything in life is worth experiencing the good and bad and becoming something you dreamed to soon turn into reality. How did you overcome challenges? I overcome all challenges with positive quotes daily, self care days, self dates and most importantly by the strength and grace of GOD. The lessons I learned along the way is its okay to take a break just don’t give up completely. What do you want the world to know about you? I want the world to know this young mother, business owner and amazing friend not only bring fancy treats but also bring positivity and lots of love. Most of my clients have became family throughout the years and it’s nothing like new and amazing friends and family that love and support you genuinely ❤️

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite local spots True Kitchen and cocktail for the vibe and music, then we would go to a winery for a few drinks and outside vibes, we can’t forget to stop by a treat shop or ice cream shop just for some fruity and kiddie moments and selfies.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to send a shoutout to my grandmother, my son, my family, my clients, and Tarrant County College. All have been instrumental in driving me to pursue my passion and perfect my craft. I am forever grateful to my current and future clients. Also want to give a huge shoutout to one of my amazing business friend Rasheda Bell for selecting and thinking of me for this opportunity much love beautiful!
