We had the good fortune of connecting with Bre Morris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bre, what do you attribute your success to?
The Alchemy brand was born out of love, an obsession for what we do, care for all people, authenticity, and integrity. We focus heavily on making sure everybody who walks in to Alchemy feels pampered, loved, beautiful and connected to their community.

It’s hard to say that one of these components is more important than the other as it’s a process that takes each moment and adds them up to make the “touch of magic” of the Alchemy Face Bar brand. A “Touch of Magic” is often something you will hear at Alchemy as a way to explain that something special, that feeling of happiness and enchantment that our clients experience when they are in our space. To provide a “touch of magic” our team has to believe in what they do entirely and authentically. Our Alchemists have to focus their attention authentically on each and every client and their specific needs creating a truly personal “touch of magic.”

Alchemy is a Facial spa + Medi Spa with a feel completely different from any other experience that exists today. We took the components we love about those experiences and transformed them in to something unique. At Alchemy you can expect an illustrious yet comfortable experience in a beautiful spa style setting. The aesthetic of the brand is just one piece that makes this brand so successful, it’s a unexpected surprise to feel so pampered yet not need to take your entire day.

Leading this brand with love and an absolute obsession for what we do is what makes the Alchemy Brand successful. My love for making women feel beautiful by enhancing their natural beauty is the foundation of this brand. Our success comes from the love and authenticity in which myself and my team put in to Alchemy every single day. We seek to inspirit each interaction with a touch of magic, believing that exceptional experiences are born of thoughtful moments, subtle details, and that kindness is a tonic for the soul.

Being women own and ran has been core to the foundation of our success. We believe in lifting women up and that women working to support women are more successful than their counterparts. We believe in growing together and not in just attempting to reach a goal individually. The support for each other within our team is something we have championed from the beginning and continue to see within our teams today, even as we grow. This team love and passion for growing each other is core to the success of the Alchemy brand.

Community connection is an important part of the core principles of the Alchemy brand. We aim to feel connected to each other, to our clients, and our local community. Alchemy invites clients to indulge in a shared experience of self-care. we are an outlet for learning and connection, a place for kindred spirits to rest, laugh, and be. The community style of Alchemy is a distinct differentiator for our brand as it relates to a typical spa. It is the foundation that inspires the connected feeling our clients love and believe in.

The Alchemy brand is successful not because of one thing or one person. It is a recipe of all of these things that makes us strong, makes us different and keeps us growing.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Alchemy is in a class of its own. Honestly, it’s one of our greatest strengths but can be hard to explain to future clients. We are a facial bar but in a community-style setting. We focus on services that are indulgent and personalized but are also quick and allow you to get on with your day. In many spas you recieve a facial in a private room but at Alchemy we believe in connection and community and instead offer facials in one communal space. It provides a feeling unlike any other spa and we believe it’s one of the keys to the magical feeling you get at Alchemy.

We also provide medical services however this is done in a beautiful, spa-style atmosphere as opposed to many medi spas where they feel more like a doctor’s office. We recently also added EMFACE and have one of only five devices in Dallas. The EMFACE is a non-invasive, needle-free procedure that simultaneously treats facial skin and muscles in a 20-minute session. EMFACE utilizes the simultaneous application of Synchronized RF and HIFES™ technologies to affect facial skin, muscles, and connective tissue. The result is clearer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin

What are we most proud of?
That’s hard, we are proud of so many things at Alchemy. We are proud of our tenacity and perserverance, we are proud of our team and they way we work together to accomplish a greater goal. We are proud to have joined the Dallas community and to continue to work with local businesses to create that community connection we hold so dear to our hearts.

How did we get to where we are today:
We worked hard. We started off small and signed up for every opportunity to share what we do and offer services. We grew naturally and by making true and authentic connections with our clients and our communities. These connections helped us grow and build on the solid foundation we had started. It takes each and every one of our team to make Alchemy run as efficiently as it does. We couldn’t be where we are without my entire Alchemy team.

Was it easy/ What were the challenges?

I don’t think any business is created without struggles. One thing I love is navigating our business; not just through the good times but the hard times as well. I know that guiding this company through hard times should be done the exact same way as the good ones. When things get hard, we stay focused on the same things: positivity, upholding our standards of professional and clean products, leading and guiding our Alchemists with love and treating them like family, and working hard to find a way to make the magic of Alchemy shine above all else.

When we opened in Dallas it was hard to have an Alchemy so far away. I love building the brand and getting to see new clients light up when they discover Alchemy and get to enjoy the experience and confidence it brings them. Because I have such a strong team in Denver caring for Alchemy in every way, my husband and I have decided to move our family to Dallas! We just purchased a home in Greenville, close to Alchemy, and we can’t wait to begin getting to know the community even more.

What lessons have you learned:
Oh so many. Every day I learn more from my mentors and my team. We are all in this together and each day whether it’s a new problem somewhere, a new product to learn, a new technique, etc we are always learning.

What do you want the world to know about our brand and story?

That we are different. That the experience is something you have to experience to understand. We want to share our “touch of magic” and love for each and every person. We whole-heartedly believe in the beauty of each individual and specialize in bringing out your natural beauty. We make every effort to quell our clients insecurities, ease any discomfort, and advance self-care. Our approach is about listening, not selling, people, not products.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, being new to Dallas makes it hard but what we’ve discovered so far, we love!

We’d start by making sure they flew in via JSX airline into Dallas Love Field airport. The airline and the small airport make traveling such a breeze!

We’d pick them up and drive to Katy Trail for a walk outside in the beautiful Dallas sunshine! (assuming it’s not July!)
After that we’d definietly hit Leela’s in lower Greenville for Happy Hour cocktails.
For dinner, I am OBSESSED with Oishii Sushi, so it’s a must!

The next day we’d have coffee at Halycon on Greenville Ave and enjoy their breakfast tacos!
Then off to the Dallas Farmers Market to see what treasures we can find and eat lunch.
After that…a facial at Alchemy Face Bar of course!
For cocktails we’d walk to Apothecary and finish with Dinner there as well.

The next day:
Coffee at Cafe Duro and drink it slowly at Sister next door. It literally feels like you’re in France and I LOVE IT.
Then off to White Rock Lake for another walk with my girls.
Shopping afterwards in Knox Henderson at Vintage Martini and Favor the Kind Keepsake and Esther penn
For cocktails back to Lower Greenville to HIDE Bar.

After all of this, it’s probably time to take some time at home. Do facials-to-go from Alchemy, watch a cheesy movie or maybe one of my old favorites like Drop Dead Fred.

The next morning before they take off from Dallas Love Field, we would definietly enjoy brunch at Snooze an AM Eatery in Oak Lawn. I worked at Snooze in Denver before starting Alchemy and enjoying a Mimosa at Snooze is always on the top of my list!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to dedicate this shoutout to the Dallas Community in Greeville area. We have been so welcomed by all of the local businesses including Lalaland, Halycon, Cafe Duro, Cafe of Life, Leelas, Corepower. We have been welcomed, felt at home and loved thanks to so many of these businesses.
