We had the good fortune of connecting with Bria Whitaker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bria, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
I believe other than working for myself, the most important decision I’ve made that contributed to my success would definitely be giving back. Not only from a philanthropic perspective. But teaching others to walk in faith, be authentic and true to yourself, and help other entrepreneurs along the way towards my success.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am currently a wardrobe architect (the way I brand myself as a personal fashion stylist) and overalls serial entrepreneur/businesswoman, What makes me unique is many things but specifically, my niche being in menswear is pretty cool. I am most excited for the blessings and opportunities that are going to transpire throughout this pandemic. I got to where I am today by being inquisitive, always going the extra mile, and being simply Bria. My journey has definitely been a struggle but I wouldn’t change ANYTHING about it because I’m constantly learning and evolving. Whether it is good or bad this process has redefined my character, perseverance, humility, and resilience. I overcome challenges by staying in my word and God’s presence, being in my creative zone, listening to music, and talking to my loved ones. Things I learned along the way never take things so personally and always be a lifelong learner to the game/industry. I want the world to know I am a young visionary straight out of Dallas, TX, and be prepared to see this face/name again because I AM DESTINED FOR GREATNESS.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone came to my city I would definitely introduce them to the diversity of the city but for sure they will get a glimpse of my culture especially top food and hangout spots. Dallas is full of interesting people and places, I guess it would depend on the mood. I am a very spontaneous and fun person so I am always down to have a good time.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to shout-out God, my family, my friends, and genuine supporters who constantly push me to become a better version of myself daily.
