We had the good fortune of connecting with Bree Sudbury and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bree, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I am very Type-A and use a calendar for everything. Recently micro-scheduling has been a life saver. It also helps me keep track of time spent on each task for client retainers and project hours. It’s amazing looking back through the weeks and seeing everything you’ve accomplished. Highly recommend! What should our readers know about your business?
When I started Pixels & Digits in 2018, it took everything in me, every single day to talk myself into going for it. I was so intimidated, overwhelmed, inspired, lost, and trying to manage my time, to-do list, and be productive when no one else was looking. It was like I was alone on this island of ideas and big plans, but didn’t know where to start because everything seemed so important and urgent. Luckily, I had a few entrepreneurial friends and loved ones to go to with questions, bounce ideas off of, and have in my corner as a support system. I thought, gosh! I bet we would have some ground breaking businesses in Dallas if people just had some encouragement, support, and guidance to take that huge step and really go for it. So from then on, my goal has been to help startups start up online. Whether it’s through making a business plan, making a logo, setting up smart and reasonable goals, creating and managing a website, social media, business and target audience strategy, working on sales leads, creating click funnels to attract new business, graphic design, app development, software development, etc. I want to help ideas become businesses and get them up and running in a way that feels unique, genuine, and authentic. We’ve been lucky enough to have had some really fun clients/brands, some incredible launches, and successful events in our time. We’re a small, but mighty group of daring digital experts, and can’t wait to see what the future holds. When I’m not working on P&D client work, I work with The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My recent top-three would be: The new AT&T Plaza is so swanky, sleek, exciting, and has some incredible restaurants and cocktails. City Hall in the Adolphus is stunning and has killer cocktails and menu, as well. Lastly, assuming the weather is nice, the arboretum is high up on the list — it’s perfect amount of outdoors, art, and picnic spots for a weekend afternoon.Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, Trevor, who is so supportive, encouraging, and has my back through all the ups and downs of running a business. Without his help, I would have never taken the leap. Nyros Technology for partnering with my company and I to provide software and app development to clients. The DEC was huge in my start-up phase. Their programming and meetings are so informative and helpful. Love the folks at the Riveter and Common Desk for making my time there amazing. My current and past clients – incredible people and vibes. AMCP for taking a risk and believing in me.
