Meet Bella Brown | Actress
We had the good fortune of connecting with Bella Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bella, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
My ultimate goal is to be provided a platform for purpose! I want to show other young ladies that look like me, that it’s okay to chase your dreams and provide them with practical advice to achieve those goals. Last is to have a performing arts recreational centers located in inner-city and low poverty neighborhoods.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve been acting professionally for 7 years. And what I’ve learned in my profession is that I define my success and that success can look different in each season that I’m in. Learning that was hard. The acting world is full of rejection and if you don’t develop a tough skin, have a community, and a motto to live by, the industry can break you. I’m lucky I have all 3 and I remain whole. I have some projects that are in post-production and they hopefully will be released this summer!!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the shops of Legacy in Plano! It’s like a one-shop-stop. I would book a room at the hotel. Stop at Kai, Del Friscos, go shopping, hit up the arcades and close the week with massages.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes my daughter. She has been my biggest supporter. I know my journey as an actress probably has not been easy for her. Although I feel guilty when I’m not able to spend as much time with her because I may be tired from studying or from being on set, she never makes me feel guilty. In fact she prays for me and massages my feet. She’s a super hero
