We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Woodard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, what role has risk played in your life or career?
In business you have to be willing to take a risk!! I always say scared money do not make money. Going into business,I risked it all because my business is all that I have. So I feel like I have to be all in it and not tip toe around it. I’m always taking risk but the outcome has been great every time so far.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner of Rosie’s beauty spa, Rosie’s beauty zone my organic product line, Real Raw juice and I’m also a hair stylist. I am mostly exited about this transition I’m making moving to a bigger spa. In less than a year I am able to expand my business and change locations. I got to where I am today by being determined. It sounds cliche but when I put my mind to something, I do it! I do not let anything stop me or get in the way of my success. It is definitely not easy being where I am today. It takes sacrificing sleep, time from your friends & family and a lot of focus. My brand focus on wellness and beauty. We like to make our customers healthy and beautiful from the inside out. Lessoned I learned on the way is to set boundaries from the beginning when doing business with other people. If not there will be miscommunications and fall outs.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the first place we would go is to a seafood restaurant to devour some crab legs and shrimps. Then to an arcade to bowl and play games because who don’t love arcade games. If we’re not to full from crab legs then we would go to a bar. If we wanted to do something chill we would just take a night swim at the hotel we’re staying at.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely like to shout out my mother. She is there for me like no other. She will work her whole work shift, get off, come to my spa and stay all night helping me with orders or anything I have to do. I know 100 % that she is proud of me and have my back forever. She is always there for me when I need her the most.
