We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ASHLEY, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
As a solo small business licensed esthetician, the end goal is to build a successful and sustainable business that allows me to provide high-quality skincare services to my clients while also achieving personal and financial fulfillment. By the end of my career, I hope to have established a loyal clientele base, built a strong reputation in the industry, and possibly expand my business to include additional services or locations. I also aim to continue growing and learning in my field, staying up-to-date on the latest skincare trends and techniques, and ultimately be recognized as a respected and skilled esthetician in the beauty industry. Ultimately, I want to leave a positive impact on my clients and be proud of the legacy I have created through my business.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a solo small business licensed esthetician with a passion for skincare and helping my clients achieve healthy, glowing skin. What sets me apart from others is my dedication to providing personalized and results-driven treatments tailored to each individual’s unique skincare needs. I believe in taking a holistic approach to skincare, focusing on both the internal and external factors that can affect the health of the skin.
I am most proud of the relationships I have built with my clients and the positive impact I have had on their skin and self-confidence. It is incredibly rewarding to see my clients leave my studio feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and more confident in their own skin.
Transitioning from a military career to becoming an esthetician was a challenging but ultimately rewarding journey. I have always been passionate about skincare and beauty, and after leaving the military, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a licensed esthetician. I completed the necessary training and education, obtained my license, and opened my own esthetics business.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was establishing myself as a new esthetician in a competitive industry. I had to work hard to build a loyal clientele and differentiate myself from other estheticians in the area. I learned the importance of networking, marketing, and providing exceptional customer service to attract and retain clients. Setting up my business taught me valuable lessons about the importance of organization, time management, and financial planning. I had to navigate the complexities of running a small business, from managing expenses and bookkeeping to creating a welcoming and professional environment for my clients.
What I want the world to know about my Skinphoria is that I am dedicated to providing high-quality skincare services in a relaxing and nurturing environment. I believe in the power of self-care and the positive impact that healthy skin can have on one’s overall well-being. My goal is to help my clients look and feel their best, inside and out, through customized skincare treatments and expert advice.
