We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariel Prosser and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ariel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I am skilled, I am ready, I got this shit!
17 years Experience managing various companies, businesses and paperwork for other people I decided to follow my family foot steps and start up my own stuff.
Growing up I was surrounded by entrepreneurs; My aunt sold custom Barbie’s, My grandparents owned a singer sewing store, and My dad owned his own HVAC company.
I had worked my way up in the service industry to General Management; after running others businesses for 10+ years I knew Corona I was the time to branch out on my own; so I took what little money I had saved and started volunteering to do photography for friends, families, Restaurants and other artists.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have ADHD, OCD and anxiety disorder; and all of this leads to an insanely socially awkward human IRL, so networking is my weakness. it’s strange how it changes behind the camera or at work, when I become Ariel The Photographer.
Usually I clam up any time I am required to toot my own horn, or show off my talents, but honestly I am just so proud of my photography I love seeing it; I always think to myself “wow! did that, I captured that beautiful moment!”
I believe in equality and inclusiveness; I love working with LGBTQ and NeroDivergent.
The best moment I’ve had in photography recently was receiving a Wedding Invitation from one of my clients. I cried seeing’ how beautifully they incorporated the photos; it made my heart burst with joy and pride!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Keith Abate, my partner, Not only does he run his own Food truck Blind Fox Denton; but he always ensures I am taken care of and supported. Especially on the days when I can’t do it myself, he makes sure I take care of myself. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here without him.
