We had the good fortune of connecting with Ari Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ari, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Hosting has always been something that made me happy. Being a host goes hand in hand with a lot of the things that I enjoy the most – friends, family, food, and beverages. Whether it’s making coffee for a guest, having my monthly wine nights, or just having friends and family over for dinner, being able to serve others and host them in any sort of capacity is what I’ve always felt the most joy doing. I think there’s something incredibly special about sharing the skills and gifts that you have with others.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a Talent and Marketing Specialist in veterinary medicine, I am in a unique position where I get to meet some of the most incredible veterinarians across the country, while also helping grow the group that I work for through our marketing campaigns. I’m incredibly proud of the growth that not only I have experienced, but the growth that my team and company have seen since I started back in 2020. It definitely came with plenty of challenges, as we started out with a small team while experiencing rapid growth, but because of how talented and agile our team is, we survived and thrived as a company through it all. I’ve learned some incredible lessons about teamwork and efficiency along the way, and I’ve been able to utilize a lot of the creative practices that I use in corporate America in my own personal life as well. I’ve been making steady growth on my personal social media platform, and have had some incredible opportunities open themselves up to me through platforms like Instagram and TikTok as a result. I want people to know that regardless of how small they may feel, to keep pushing out content they enjoy making. Your story resonates with someone out there. Just keep creating.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a sucker for getting out and active. As a runner, I feel that a run/walk on the Katy Trail is a must.
Depending on the time of the year, a Stars game at the AAC is also something I would want a non-Dallas native to experience.
As far as food goes, definitely some bagels from Shugs and/or Starship in the mornings. Las Palmas, Terry Black’s, The Henry, Lucia, GAPCo, or out to K-Town in Carrollton. For coffee or snacks, definitely Hola Cafe, Slow & Steady, or The Meteor.
To hang out, I’d probably have us walk down Bishop Arts District, Knox, or head over to NorthPark. Shop, take pictures, chit chat. I also love a good art museum, so have them check out the DMA and/or other tourist attractions around the city.
I also host a monthly Wine Night/Wine Club, so hopefully, they are in town to be a part of it (@vinoamici_ on IG)!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
So much of my success can be credited to my family and friends. Everything that I have found success doing, or have the confidence to do, is rooted deeply in the community and relationships that I have around me. I have an incredibly supportive family between my parents and my sister, and the best friends that I could have imagined having as a young adult. They’ve all rallied around me and the things that I do, and continue to be my biggest supporters in person and on social media.
