Meet Anna | KRASA Beauty Studio Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was a natural step for me – it came from a deep desire to create something meaningful, personal, and impactful. I’ve always been passionate about beauty, creativity, and creating environments where people feel confident and cared for. Over time, I realized that working for someone else often came with limitations on how I could express that vision.
So I started asking myself: What would my ideal space look like? What kind of experience would I want to give clients? That’s when the idea really started taking shape. I didn’t just want to open a beauty studio – I wanted to build a brand that reflects quality, warmth, and personality. I knew it would be a challenge, but I also knew that I’d never feel truly fulfilled until I brought my own vision to life.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called KRASA Beauty Studio, and it’s truly a reflection of everything I love – beauty, confidence, connection, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The name “KRASA” actually means “beauty” in Ukrainian, and that word holds a lot of meaning for me. It’s simple, elegant, and soulful – just like the experience I want to create for every person who walks through our doors.
What sets us apart is the energy of the space. It’s not just about services – it’s about how our clients feel. We focus on creating a personalized, elevated experience where people feel seen, appreciated, and more confident. Every detail, from the interior design to the way we communicate with clients, is carefully thought out to reflect that intention.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. Like many small business owners, I faced a lot of challenges – stress, financial pressure, self-doubt, and the never-ending list of responsibilities. But what got me through was staying connected to my purpose, trusting my vision, and leaning on the support of the people who believe in me.
What I’m most proud of is the impact we’re already making. When clients tell me they feel more confident, cared for, or simply happier after visiting us – that’s everything to me. That’s the real reward.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to stay true to yourself. Your authenticity is your greatest strength. I’ve also learned that who you surround yourself with matters – your team, your clients, your support system. When those people align with your values, everything feels possible.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about KRASA, it’s that we’re about more than just beauty. We’re about creating an experience, building a community, and helping people feel their absolute best – inside and out.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Dallas for a week, I’d definitely make sure they experienced the best of what this city has to offer – beautiful spots, good food, unique vibes, and of course, a little glam.
Day 1 – Welcome to Dallas
We’d kick things off with brunch at The Henry – gorgeous decor and such a fun vibe to ease into the week. Then we’d stroll through Klyde Warren Park, maybe grab a coffee from a food truck and relax. At night, we’d go for rooftop drinks at Happiest Hour to take in the skyline.
Day 2 – Arts & Culture Day
We’d visit the Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center for some inspiration, then grab lunch at Sixty Vines (hello, wine on tap and truffle pizza!). Later, maybe a cute outfit change and head to Bishop Arts District – it’s such a charming area to explore shops and little galleries. Dinner at Tei-An if we’re feeling fancy.
Day 3 – Spa & Beauty Day
Of course, I’d bring her to KRASA Beauty Studio for the full pampering experience – whether it’s brows, nails, a glow-up hair, or all of the above. After that, we’d grab matcha at La La Land Kind Café and chill. A cozy evening dinner at Gemma – perfect for catching up and sharing good food.
Day 4 – Nature + Chill
Morning walk at White Rock Lake followed by breakfast at Origin Kitchen + Bar. Maybe a chill pool day or relaxing afternoon. In the evening, tacos and margaritas at Mi Cocina, followed by live music at The Rustic.
Day 5 – Shopping + Fashion
We’d go all out: NorthPark Center for designer finds and Highland Park Village for that luxe, curated feel. Stop by Restoration Hardware Rooftop for lunch and aesthetic overload. Later, cocktails at Catbird in the Thompson Hotel – very chic.
Day 6 – Day Trip
A mini road trip to Fort Worth – Stockyards, cowboy vibes, cute photo ops. Or we could hit up Waco to visit Magnolia and have that “Fixer Upper” moment. Either way, road snacks and good playlists are a must.
Day 7 – Sunday Reset
Sleep in, grab a late brunch at Commons Club in Virgin Hotel, and spend the day reflecting, laughing, maybe journaling or vision boarding by the pool. Dinner at Monarch for breathtaking views and a fabulous send-off.
Dallas has such a beautiful mix of modern glam, Southern charm, and hidden gems – it’s the perfect place to have a little bit of everything. I’d want my best friend to leave feeling inspired, recharged, and totally in love with this city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely – my journey wouldn’t be what it is without the love and support of the people closest to me. First, my mom has always been my biggest cheerleader. She’s taught me resilience, kindness, and how to stay grounded no matter what. My sister is my rock and my daily inspiration- her strength, creativity, and loyalty constantly motivate me to push forward. And of course, my husband – he’s been my partner in every sense, supporting my dreams, calming my nerves during stressful moments, and celebrating every win with genuine pride.
I also have so much gratitude for the amazing community that has surrounded me – from friends who helped spread the word to the kind clients who trusted me from the beginning. Their support, encouragement, and belief in my vision truly gave me the motivation to keep going and to keep growing.
This business is a reflection of everything these people have poured into me – and I’m so thankful to have them by my side every step of the way.
