We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna Bondele and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anna, how do you think about risk?
My father has a saying that he constantly repeats, and that saying is “You must always be willing to risk in order for you to gain” when I think about risk I don’t think about a loss rather I think about a gain, every success story has pain, has tears and most importantly has lost. I’ve taken many risk as a hairstylist, aspiring chef, future lawyer and Woman of God, sometimes you spend all day coming up with ideas to better your business but the results are nowhere near what you expected. It feels like you did nothing but in reality the results will show as you continue to work. One of the biggest risk I took was to actually be a hairstylist and cook as a personal chef, and let me say it says it’s ups and downs but I love it and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting with my hair business, until this day all I can say it was the destiny of God because the way I came about doing hair was certainly like a dream. It all started with a lady from my old apartments at the young age of 10 years old she insisted I braided her hair from lack of any knowledge on how to do it I accepted and things went on from there it did take me awhile to risk it all and actually be serious about it but when I did everything just made sense. With cooking believe it or not I never wanted to cook I knew how to cook at the age of 6 and my mom would show me but I just didn’t like it. One day at 15 or 16 I believe, I just became so in love with cooking I was fascinated by what I could make, from then on I just started thinking about cooking and all the meals I could make for my family and most importantly my future husband and myself too, it became a great passion for me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Every chance I get I love to treat myself, if my best friend came, we would definitely go to a arcade I absolutely love the arcade it’s the best way to get out of your comfort zone and just have fun. My favorite arcade game is basketball because I can totally destroy anyone. After that or maybe before depending on the day, we can go around Las Colinas and walk around I am a sucker for pretty views and walking around when it feels beautiful out with ice cream I personally believe ice cream is for any weather call me crazy but it’s true. I can’t forget about eating we can either go to Benihana or a very nice and fancy restaurant near Dallas, but then again I can always make the food for us.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I can’t ever start my gratitude without thanking God, no matter how difficult things get I can always count on his mentorship, his love and support in my life. My mom and dad they have shaped my life in leading by example. My siblings because they motivate me everyday. My dear friends and sisters in Christ like Benie Yamba, Divine and Deborah Mbaya, Fiston Palaki i can always count on a good laugh and advice from him.Ms Lyzianah and President Vindra from Hallmark international youth group of course so many other people who accredited to it as well!
