We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Kelly and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We initially started right in the middle of Covid, and we figured once things settled down we would have more control over when and where we worked. That, combined with our love of the onion burgers growing up, was the perfect combination.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m proud of this business because it came from nothing and continues to grow. I’m grateful every time we book a spot, event, etc. Me, my brother ( Joe Kelly) and father ( Mike Kelly ) started this whole thing to simply spread love for the onion burger. Every Christmas we go to Oklahoma to visit family and the burgers were something we would talk about all year. During the brunt of Covid, we started making them at my dads place and it just escalated from there. The secret to having some success is simply don’t give up. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s true. Starting your own business is one of the hardest things we’ve ever done. Just believe in your product, be fair and honest, and good things will come.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ok, here’s a perfect day in FW.
Breakfast- Paris Coffee Shop

Lunch- The Lunch Box
Dinner – Bonnells

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We wouldn’t be successful at all without the first few places that would let us come out and park. Without those guys, we couldn’t of got the word out. Here’s a list just to name a few. Born Late Records
Martin House
Turning Point
Silver Star Spirits
Southside Cellars
