We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Tran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I have a strong work ethic and I like to make sure things are done with structure and I think that’s what makes successful. I believe in working hard for your goal and setting goals for yourself and allowing myself to keep constantly learning. I don’t ever think I know it all and I like to listen and learn from others in the business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Cotton Closet is a women’s consignment store that its goal is for you to look amazing for a fraction of the cost. We keep our prices low and we add new items to the floor every day. Im a firm believer that when you look good, you feel good. Every day is your runway.

It’s not easy but it’s rewarding and I love seeing new faces and building relationships with my customers and consigners. I’m a people person so this is definitely something I enjoy and love!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have a a few people who have paved the way for me.

I worked for a small business owner and he mentored me and gave the opportunity to see all the ins and out of owning a business- I think I owe so much to him for taking the time to teach me and guide me.

My husband has been such a rock, being a wife, mother and business owner can become overwhelming with the never ending things to go but he gives me balance and support. I feel like having a husband who doesn’t hold me back but encourages me and helps me when I’m down is a blessing.

And my faith, God placed this in my hands for a reason. He knows our ways and he opens doors. I owe my success and the opportunities that have been presented to me because of love for me,
