We had the good fortune of connecting with Anabelen Aranton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anabelen, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In 2019, I began my Youtube Channel as a way to share my knowledge and experiences in Pilates, Yoga, and Physical Therapy to assist those in need of healing. At the same time, I was also on my own journey of self-healing after dealing with various physical issues. Throughout the first year of my channel, I documented my pain and progress, serving as a reflection of my true self. After a year, I successfully healed myself and was free from neck and back pain. This incredible journey inspired me to fully commit to sharing the benefits of core and back immersion therapy. Within 9 months, my channel grew to 1,000 subscribers and became monetized, marking the beginning of my online presence. The pandemic provided me with more time to focus on my channel, allowing me to create my first online course, the Back Master Class. This course aims to help individuals with weak cores and poor posture regain a life without back pain. Over the past 3 years, my online course has flourished, and I now have over 100,000 followers across various social media platforms, reaching people worldwide. It has been an honor to connect with individuals from different countries, including Oslo, Norway, Australia, Canada, South Korea, and the United States. Currently, I am preparing another online course, Revive Pelvic Floor Health, specifically designed for women during pregnancy or postpartum who are dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction and weak core and abdominal muscles. My business continues to grow, and it is incredible to see how it has evolved from a personal coping mechanism to a platform that reaches and helps thousands of people globally.
What should our readers know about your business?
I graduated as a physical therapist in 2002 and began my career in New York before moving to New Jersey for 12 years. After that, I spent 4 years in San Diego before settling in Texas, where I have been practicing as a physical therapist for the past 5 years. In addition to my work as a physical therapist, I have also been a Youtuber since 2019 and a social media fitness influencer. I have developed an online course called the Back Master Class and am currently working on another course called Revive Pelvic Floor Health, which will be launching this summer. My areas of specialization include Pilates, Yoga-based treatments, and I am also certified as a Brain Injury Specialist. I take great pride in the growth I have experienced as a physical therapist and the ability to help people all over the world through social media. It has been an incredible journey, and thanks to technology, I am able to reach individuals not only in my local community but also thousands of miles away from Celina, Texas. I receive numerous comments and emails from followers expressing their gratitude for how my videos have helped them. What sets my style of treatment apart from others is my spontaneous knowledge sharing. I am able to draw from my memory bank and share what has proven to be effective for the body. Patients often describe me as having a lighthearted and sweet personality. During treatment sessions, I strive to create an atmosphere of laughter to encourage and motivate my patients. I always remind them that with hard work, anything is possible, and I am their biggest cheerleader in helping them achieve their functional goals.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love nature and would love to bring my best friend to a cabin and go hiking, swimming, horse back riding and kayaking. I love to explore different museums and art galleries because I love art and science. As a physical therapist, in order to excel well in this field, you have to have the passion in art and science in order to keep the fire in this career. I also love to try different restaurants and definitely, i will bring my best friend to an Asian restaurant. As a very active person , I will definitely love to explore a lot in the city as well as with nature and Broken Bow Oklahoma is one of my favorite place to go. It is very tranquil, you can really see different wild animals and amazing fresh air, to de tress and recoup your strength, mind body and soul. It is my recharge place , away from the hustle and bustle of city life here near Dallas.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my husband Ben , he is the pillar of my success. through ups and downs, he has been so supportive at the same time he also recognize what I needed to improve in order to keep my focus with my business. He encourages me when I loose my drive and whenever I felt like giving up. He helps me organize my thoughts whenever i felt overwhelmed and discouraged. He has the faith in me that I can do it. And most importantly ,I won’t be in this position without the faith from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gives me strength and Love that He pours into my heart in order for me to give out more love to my family, loved one, patients and community.
Lastly, big shoutout to my current and previous students as well as thousands of my subscribers who never stop supporting me.
