We had the good fortune of connecting with A.M. Early Morning and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi A.M. Early Morning, how do you think about risk?
Risk-taking is one of the biggest things to help my career over the years. I’ve spent numerous time and money in different cities and places sacrificing both time and money to risk a chance for an opportunity. The risk that you take Has to make sense And must be something that if you do fail it doesn’t destroy your whole business Putting all your eggs in one basket is a real thing LOL I’ve had to make sure the things that I wanted out of my music I had to clearly know what those things were before I ran and attempted to do some thing that was new and see if it’s worth it
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So I started rapping in about 2012 and that’s when I really decided this is what I wanted to do this was not a easy road at all a lot of bumps lotta bruises a lot of things that I had to shift a lot of time that was wasted on things that doing it the first time I didn’t know what was going on so I had to figure it out as I went the biggest thing in this is that you have to know what you want in lifeKnow where you want to take your brand and understand your community that you’re working with in the field that you will be playing it
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Favorite spots would definitely be just downtown area is beautiful foods but I will take them to would be uncle Remus MacArthurs or Lawrence fisheries downtown
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So definitely a lot of the people that I’ll shout out in credit to will just be paying homage to the guys that did it before me the artist who struggled continuously to make their creativity impact that has helped throughout the community today
