We had the good fortune of connecting with Francisca Limon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Francisca, if you had a million dollars to invest right now, how would you use that capital?
If I had $1 million to invest right now during this pandemic, I would not have the necessity of cutting down the hours to our employees in both of our restaurants. Also let them know, that we can survive together more now that the government is not helping the whole community.
What should our readers know about your business?
It was not easy to arrive with our different style when the people only knew about Tex-Mex food, and to show them about our variable food in our regional would be tough, for example, Garnachas topped of with Cochinita Pibil customers would ordered them with fajita and having to explain that garnachas are typical and fajita does not exist it would chase poeple away. Today I feel my heart vibrate because the Garnachas with Cochinita Pibil are the most in demand and so today I can say that it was not easy to have this success but WE did it.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
My favorite to place to is the movies, especially Cinepolis. The view is beautiful and to have a nice drink while watching a movie and also just sit in the lounge! To top it off a little roadtrip out to Limon’s Restaurant for some authentic food in Dallas. Some spicy enchiladas or some Empanadas fill with your own choices! Best places to be in Dallas!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Behind all our success it is worth nothing that our family is behind it all (Cruz family, Pablo family and Limon family), who by the way everyone very proud of our gastronomy from Veracruz. Our gastronomy Veracruzana has been our standard here in Dallas and now in Grand Prairie, Texas. Lastly, my credit goes to two young adults who have extraordinary involved each other into my dreams, my kids, Dania Limon and David Limon. Who I am very proud and grateful of them.
