Hi James, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

Entrepreneurship has always been part of my life. The journey started with selling candy and pencils at school, starting a neighborhood lawn service with his childhood best friend, to developing an investment group with college friends which ignited his entrepreneurial spirit. Owning a franchise was just a matter of finding the right time and opportunity. When my father presented this opportunity, it was a no brainer for me.

My father, who i run the business with, and I complements each other very well. Our age difference creates a sense of balance as they relate to our respective age groups, especially in marketing and networking. The individual roles within the business are handled jointly. These roles include marketing, sales, technical development, and growth of the company.

It was easy getting to where we are today simply because we opened our doors right at the start of the pandemic. Acknowledging the ongoing crisis, Me and my team at TeamLogic IT of Irving have shifted the focus from networking to drive sales, towards networking to provide knowledge. Distinguishing from the other MSPs, we were able to navigate through the pandemic from an IT standpoint.

The one thing i would want the world to know about my brand is that we are Your Technology Advisor and We have IT Solutions That Advance Your Business.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If one of my close friends was coming to the city right now for a week a few places we would definitely hit up would be a Dallas Mavs game or two, The Star & Legacy West. A few places we would go eat at for sure would be Pangea Restaurant & Bar, ESO, Savory Kitchen Bar, DJ’s Steakhouse, Vidorra Dallas, Aunt Irene’s Kitchen, and Elaine’s Kitchen. A few places for breakfast would be Snooze, Barneys Brunch House, and Maple Street Biscuit. Outside of those places we would just freestyle different parts to go hang out depending on the day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Their are several people who I credit my success too. Definitely want to give a shoutout to my parents who without them this goal & dream wouldn’t be possible. Shoutout to my first mentor Que Roberts who took me under his wing and help teach me about business as a 19 y/o college dropout. Shoutout to my business partners (Irvin, Adrain, Torrence, Kenny) who believed in my different visions for different businesses over the years. Shoutout to the artist (Shawn Carter, Airmiess Joseph Asghedom, Stayve Thomas, Dior Giovanni Petty) and that have inspired and motivated on my journey with their craft. Shoutout to Charles Duhigg for putting out the book (The Power of Habit) that really changed how philosophy on how I do business. Last but certainly not least my biggest shoutout goes to my family, my tribe for all the sacrifices they had make and still making for me to live out my dream.
