We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson the MINT has taught me, is that their is always someone out there with less then that needs you more than you’ll ever know or begin to understand

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
The MINT (Mentoring, Inspiring, Nurturing, Training) Foundation has been established since 2009. Our mission is To empower children and families to be self-sustaining through education, training, mentoring and service. I am most proud of our teams commitment to GET IT DONE and serve the community no matter what. I am most excited about seeing my kids again next summer. We got to where we are today through trail and error, and not settling for the multiple NO’s we’ve received over the years. We took those NO’s and used them as fuel to somehow get a YES. Easy, not by far! We overcame the challenges by continuing to push forward no matter the situation. We’ve learned over the years that things simply get better with time. Those certain pieces that once seemed out of place now fit perfectly into the puzzle. As Youth Director i want people to know that my ultimate goal is to bring smiles, make unforgettable memories, be there safe place, and assure these kids that they are loved and cared about. I want the world to know that “It takes a community to change the community.” We love our community and we will continue to do our part to make sure we are providing resources for those in need of assistance. I also want the world to know that we are all MINT to be something, so become the you that you are MINT to be!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God deserves all the credit without Him none of this is possible. God blessed us to be able to be a blessing to others.
