We had the good fortune of connecting with Anahi Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anahi, what do you attribute your success to?
I think a huge factor in my business’ success has been a result of my hard work. Once launching my business, I was committed to succeeding. I never doubted the outcome I have received because I knew I was willing to work hard until I reached this point.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Athens Co. Boutique is an online shop where you can find all of your western-fashion inspired needs! Athens Co. Boutique was founded during the COVID-19 Pandemic. By the grace of God, Athens Co. was able to prosper into what it is today, overcoming many obstacles along the way.

So far, the journey of being a business owner has not been easy. I opened my online shop while being a sophomore in college and on my university dance team. The ability to organize my time wisely works in my favor while balancing my school work, dance practices, and of course, business tasks. Along the way, I have learned that anything you set your mind to is achievable, and with God, everything is possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite spots to visit in Fort Worth would be the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Fort Worth Stockyards has beautiful backgrounds and a cactus field, perfect for taking pictures in your favorite pair of cowboy boots! One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Worth was Ben’s Triple B’s on Rosedale St.

Unfortunately, this restaurant and bar shut down a few months ago. If possible, I would have recommended Ben’s Triple B’s to everyone I meet!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A significant part of my success is owed to the support I have received from those around me and those whom I have met virtually along the way. Without the support from my new friends on social media, I would not be standing where I am today. The clients and supporters who support my business have allowed me to grow daily, and I could not be more thankful.
