Meet Cameron Boyland | Big & Tall Model, Influencer, Entrepreneur, & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cameron Boyland and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cameron, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As a Big & Tall Model and influencer I understood the struggles of shopping for extended size clothing. I wanted to utilize my platform to create and design apparel items that were inclusive of the plus size community. I started KNGSHT.COM to make a statement in the fashion industry by developing a brand that is fashionable, affordable, and comfortable for all body types.

What should our readers know about your business?
KNGSHT.COM is a clothing line specifically designed for the plus-size community. This brand aims to inspire Big & Tall men and curvy women to pursue fashion on a higher level while fulfilling the demand for extended size apparel.
Cameron is the co-founder of KNGSHT.COM and a Big & Tall model
signed to Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas, Texas. He stands at 6’1” at
320 Ibs. His model and talent journey officially began when
Wilhelmina Models and JCPenney teamed up to launch Shaquille
O’neal’s Big & Tall model search Summer 2019. A simple audition
resulted in something more than he could have ever imagined. BIG
CAM has worked with major brands such as Walmart, JCPenney, Citi
Trends, Caliber Auto Care, Navy Exchange, etc. The journey has certainly not been easy, but he kept pushing hisself and never gave up on what he believed in. BIG CAM really learned that nothing worth having is easily obtained and that there may be times when you want to give up, but people are always watching and rooting for you regardless of what you think. I overcame many challenges by constantly networking and connecting with people with entrepreneurial experiences.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a best friend in town, I would take them to Deep Ellum, Downtown, and Far North Dallas to experience fine dining areas, nice scenic views, and some major city attractions. I would take them to one of my favorite restaurants, which is Kitchen + Kocktails and to the Bishop Arts District where I currently reside.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Mike Builds Brands and the DonPAgency have been very instrumental in my growth when it comes to branding and different networking opportunities. Both companies deserve major recognition not only for how they’ve helped me, but how they’ve developed and enhanced the creative realm within the Dallas Community.
