We had the good fortune of connecting with Kourtney’s White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kourtney’s, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Without taking risks, reaching your goal would be impossible. Fear, I believe is wha’t holds most of us back from fulfilling our dreams. In order to succeed you must take a risk!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a singer.! My future excites me In so may ways. I’ve been through so much, and now so anxious to see what the future holds. I’ve been working so hard to make sure I prosper with this gift GOD has given me. Patience, consistency, and determination is what got me to where I am. Also, believing in myself, and trusting in GOD! I’ve learned that giving up is never an option. Trusting God when I’m at my lowest and highest.. I want the word the know to always stay true to yourself. Also, if your chasing a dream, the first thing is believe in yourself! Your brand is everything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ok so first I would definitely do brunch at Hudson House. It’s a restaurant in Addison TX. Spend an afternoon checking out the shops at Bishop art district. Then definitely hit up DJ’s Steak House In Addison Tx.. they have the best food I’ve ever tasted. I could eat there every day lol. Last but not least I would end the night in Downtown Dallas. It’s a strip for the LGBTQ community. It has so many restaurants and bars…The vibe and energy is always good.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this shout out to my best friend/brother Quindon Dan Tarver! He has motivated and taught me so much in life. He is an outstanding singer.. Recently his life was cut short in a car wreck. I now make it my mission to go harder for my dreams for him!
