Meet Austin Chapman | Owner of Chapman Vacation, Owner of Elite Pro Washing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Austin Chapman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Austin, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I grew up as many others did working for someone else and helping them grow their business or industry. Throughout my teenage/young adult life I met many business owners and entrepreneurs which gave me the passion to strive for a similar life style.

Being able to start something from nothing and make it successful really intrigued me. There is a sense of freedom that comes with starting something you can call your own. I think the possibility of failing was one of my biggest fears and also pushed me to succeed more than anything else!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Currently I have a few different gigs! I’m A group specialist & owner for my travel agency Chapman Vacation. I specialize in groups like destination weddings, corporate events, family reunions and anything else I can assist my clients on.

Vice President of New Business for Xstream Travel. An amazing host agency if you ever want to start your own career in Travel!

I also manage The Apartment Concierge which offers a 24/7 virtual concierge service in which multi-family housing industry gives to there residents as an added amenity.

Recently started a clothing line Gett Litt clothing with my best friend Ruben Mitchell that I’m very excited about! Instagram thegetlitt.clothing

Im also in the process of launching a power washing company that should go live in less then a week!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly, Me and my fiancé recently purchased a new home with a beautiful back yard so that we can host these types of events here at our own home! We enjoy hosting and love to save money which is a big plus! So pool partying it up at the house is more fun than going out in my opinion.

Don’t get me wrong a night out on the town is always great. We enjoy sporting events, or any outdoor venues!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are many people that help mold me into the person I am today. First and foremost, my parents. They always pushed me to shoot for the stars and had no problem letting me fail so I could learn lessons the hard way. Sometime you learn the most by failing!

Another inspiration was my step father David Manning. He started multiple business and being able to see the process and watch him reap the rewards of his work really lit a fire under me.
