Hi Marilyn Marie, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
As a streamer, the end goal for me is to share my love of video games with others. Being an entertainment source of happiness is very rewarding and brings me a lot of joy. It’s very uplifting to grow a community on both tiktok and twitch that consist of the sweetest and kindest viewers. I tend to play a lot of comfort games, and at the moment, Stardew Valley is my newest addition. I do my best to make my viewers feel like they are talking to a friend. I hit a huge milestone when getting accepted into Twitch Partner recently. Now, I will continue to build a platform where people can come to relax, chill, and enjoy quality game play with positive vibes.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a twitch partner is a huge accomplishment for me. I would say what sets me apart from others is the fact that I was brand new to twitch when I decided to start streaming. I had no idea streamers existed and that the gaming community was so large. I would have never discovered twitch streaming if it wasn’t for my tiktok platform. It was not easy to get to where I am today. It took a lot of self motivation and being consistent, but through it all, I was able to gain a lot of confidence. To overcome these challenges, I really leaned on my friends and thankfully I had an amazing support system. Some advice I would give to pursing streamers is that you have to believe in yourself and to make sure to love what you do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank all my friends, new gamer friends, and the other creators on Tiktok who have supported me on this journey. Being a streamer can be an emotional rollercoaster and my friends were there for me through all my highs and lows. My gamer friends helped me with all of my technical difficulties and have showed me a ton of new games. Having other creator friends on Tiktok was inspiring for me to continue pushing out amazing quality content like them.
