We had the good fortune of connecting with Alysha Prince and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alysha, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my brands success is definitely consistency. Consistency is very important when running a successful business. It shows how serious you really are about your work and your brand and your customers will notice. They definitely can tell when you put your all into your work and when you don’t.

What should our readers know about your business?
I run an online nail art and supply store that has been open since October 2020. I can’t say what sets us apart but we do stand on providing professional, high quality and most importantly affordable products along with amazing customer service. And we do just that. Keeping the work and quality consistent and of course my customers is definitely what got The Nail Kartel where it is today. It hasn’t been easy at all and I’ve hit a ton of obstacles and semi-breaking points in the first six months of business. Overcoming those challenges wasn’t easy either, but again staying consistent and working hard on the good and bad days has gotten me through a lot! I have learned a lot of patience and to celebrate EVERY win, big or small. This is definitely the beginning for The Nail Kartel and we have SO much more in store so tap in and stay tuned!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
ANYTHING outdoors! I’m secretly obsessed with nature so I would for sure hit The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden or maybe just explore Downtown Dallas with my bestie. I love Italian and Mexican food and North Italia and Vidorra are my top two to take everyone to when they visit. I love random little coffee shops Houndstooth Coffee is a fave!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes! Riske International. It’s a new unisex streetwear/designer out of Dallas, TX ran by Ken Drummond and Davon Sneed.
