We had the good fortune of connecting with Roxanne Carne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roxanne, what do you attribute your success to?
I’d say that the most important factor behind the success of my brand is striving for excellence at EVERY facet of my business: from high-touch client development & delivery to our streamlined operational processes to providing delightful experiences all along the way. This level of service resonates so deeply with our clients and business partners!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I was born and raised in the world’s fashion capital, New York City, where my love for fashion blossomed! During a fabulous 15-year career of recruitment consulting, I often worked with professionals who not only needed personal coaching in the formal interview process, but those that also needed an image makeover in terms of their overall presence and wardrobe style. I had the pleasure of helping great professional and executive talent land awesome job opportunities. It was such a great experience to help develop their personal style and brand and watch their careers progress as a result.

My passion for fashion flourished and I made the decision to build a personal styling practice to help everyone become more stylish no matter what drives their desire for a wardrobe/style makeover. Before launching my business, however, I purposely set out to gain hands-on experience with the best of the best. I was fortunate enough to land internships with key celebrity stylists in the Los Angeles entertainment realm. Through this experience, I got exposure to styling for magazine shoots & editorials, pulling limited samples from top designer PR firms, securing relationships with studio services, costume houses, and so much more!

My intent always was to take what I learned about styling in the celebrity space and deliver that experience to ‘everyday’ women through the signature services that I offer today. Creating this type of experience for women is truly a privilege! I get to partner with fantastic ladies that are ready for me to transform their wardrobe and transform their lives. And the best part is that it’s so much fun! My dedicated personal styling work & guidance have been recognized and featured in major media outlets and publications nationwide.

At the end of the day, my ultimate goal is to truly and wholeheartedly serve women who want more for themselves and their image!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my Shoutout to Executive Coach, Heather Moulder. While Heather focuses her practice on coaching attorneys (she’s a former attorney herself), through networking together, she got to understand what I do as a service-based business and carved out time to support me in my growth strategy. I’m especially appreciative of this because my industry is not in her niche.

Over the past year, Heather’s business/life coaching & insights helped me immeasurably in terms of narrowing my strategic focus while ensuring that it aligned with my personal life goals. Her methods and recommendations gave me such clarity and awareness that I don’t have to conquer everything at one time. It’s okay to prioritize, excel in that plan, and then move on to the next great idea!
