We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Randy Bell II and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Randy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was working as a Retail Pharmacist with CVS Pharmacy after graduating from Florida A&M University (Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree) from 2010-2016. I always knew I wanted to go into business for myself so I researched the real estate business and came to the conclusion that I would earn a living helping people with their housing situation. The beauty of the business is that you can make money on the buy side and the sell side. As long as you put yourself out there and are knowledgeable to clients, you can easily create opportunities.

What should our readers know about your business?
Dallas Realty Resources is a one stop shop for all things Real Estate. Brokered by Corwin Haney (over 15 years of experience), we are equipped with all of the tools to deliver a educational and results based Real Estate Experience. What sets us apart from others is our relentless approach to get the deal done. We work around the clock to deliver results. I am most excited about my other coworkers closing deals now because it only means that we are all growing together. I got to where I am now (still have a long way to go) by hard work and simply going for it. I don’t believe in limitations so when set my mind to something, it will get done. My first big goal is to put 100 families in a home in the DFW area. I am about 1/3 of the way there. I overcame the many challenges of a new agent by immersing myself in the business. This was an attempt to work all of the kinks out by experience. By putting myself in various situations, I was able to learn how to overcome anything and If I didn’t know something, I was forced to be resourceful and get answers for my clients. The biggest lesson learned was that I am not selling anything. I am only guiding them through their options with educated feedback. If I have to sell a client on something, then I can almost guarantee that they will not like it after the ink dries. I like to give realistic expectations. Other lessons learned along the way would be to actively listen to clients. Listening is the easiest way to help someone get what they want. I want the world to know that we are one of the hardest working Real Estate Brokerages in DFW that you haven’t heard about yet.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are many people who have helped along the journey thus far. This included family, friends, previous coworkers, classmates, etc. I would like to shoutout my business partner Ken Smith Jr. We both stepped into entrepreneurship around the same time and without wise words and perspective from him, I know that the journey would look a lot different.
