What makes me happy are the simple and sacred moments of connection — with nature, with others, and with the deeper self. Man, you know, what really makes me happy are the little and simple things. I dream of being rich one day, but I also know that money won’t bring me true happiness. Not too long ago, I had a conversation with a friend and I told him, “If I die tomorrow, I’d die happy.” I love my family — I have amazing parents. I love my friends too; they’re good people who inspire me to become a better person every single day. Since I was a little girl, caring for others and making them feel safe has been my #1 goal in life. In Pre-K, my teacher asked everyone in the class what we wanted to be when we grew up. My friend Ana said “a princess!”, others said they wanted to be teachers, lawyers. I raised my hand and I said “I want to be a mom”. Which sums me up in a nutshell – I just want to nurture.
