Meet Camdyn Kindred | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Camdyn Kindred and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Camdyn, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that my photography business has taught me is to not compare myself to others, and to utilize my specific strengths. The amazing thing about photography is that is in an art and a place to express emotions, so I quickly found that trying to emulate other photographers and compare my images to them was not helpful. When I lean into my personal strengths and talents, I create my best work and have the most fun while doing it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most proud of the connections that I make with my clients. My main goal is to make them feel comfortable and confident and by the end of my sessions I feel like that is always accomplished. I have learned that one of my strengths is building connections with my clients and that is what I strive to do. I want to be a positive light in the community and be someone who my clients and other photographers can trust. I want to celebrate my clients and be sure that they receive a gallery that shows who they are and all of the joy behind their celebration.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout the photographers that have provided so much insight, support, guidance, and kind words throughout my journey.
