Hi Carolina, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always loved seeing that lightbulb moment when a child realizes a real princess has come to see them. That sparkle in their eyes — the way they stand taller, smile bigger, and believe anything is possible — that’s what started Princesa Parties.

This isn’t just about pretty dresses and crowns. It’s about creating a world where every child feels like the most important person in the kingdom. Parents can relax knowing that from the moment we arrive, we take care of everything — the greetings, the stories, the activities, the magic — so they can simply enjoy watching their child’s fairytale unfold.

Every royal entrance, every story we share, every hug we give is designed to make the day unforgettable. I chose this path because it’s the most beautiful way I know to blend imagination with genuine connection, and to give families a moment in time they’ll treasure forever.

What should our readers know about your business?
Princesa Parties is more than just entertainment, it’s a living, breathing fairytale kingdom. We bring real princesa magic into homes, backyards, ballrooms, and community spaces across DFW, turning ordinary days into once-in-a-lifetime memories.

What sets us apart is our devotion to authenticity. From the moment we make our grand royal entrance, every detail is designed to make children believe they’ve stepped into their own storybook. We call each child by name, weave them into the adventure, and make sure they feel like the most important person in the kingdom.

Getting here hasn’t been without challenges. Starting a new business means wearing every crown — from creative director to logistics queen — but each challenge has been worth it. We overcame them by remembering our mission: to create joy so real it becomes part of a child’s core memories.

I’m most proud of the way our kingdom has grown — not just in bookings, but in the love and trust we’ve earned from families. The greatest lesson I’ve learned is that magic is built on connection. When parents know they can relax, trust the process, and watch their child light up with wonder, that’s when we’ve truly succeeded.

Our story is still being written, but one thing will never change: in our kingdom, every guest is royalty, and every celebration is a fairytale come true.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting DFW for a week, we’d have the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and family fun.

We’d start with a visit to the Heard natural Science Museum, where both kids and adults can explore hands-on exhibits and learn something new. Then we’d stroll downtown Mckinney, enjoying the old town and shops.

Midweek, we’d stop by Street Jitsu in Roanoke, my home away from home. This gym has fun, family-friendly martial arts training. Whether it’s for fitness, self-defense, or just trying something new, it’s an experience people of all ages enjoy.

For outdoor time, we’d spend an afternoon at Klyde Warren Park with food trucks, games, and plenty of space for kids and pups to run. We’d also check out The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for gorgeous scenery and seasonal events.

And of course, we’d visit some local favorites for food — breakfast at Breakfast Club 51 in Roanoke, pizza at Big Joe’s in Haltom City, and a relaxed dinner at Queen of Sheba in Addison, my favorite authentic Ethiopian restaurant.

By the end of the week, my guest would have a taste of everything. From science and nature to fitness and good Texas cooking, all while making memories that feel just as magical as a Princesa Party.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Every Princesa needs a kingdom behind her, and mine has been built by some incredible people. First, my Prince Charming, Dennis — my constant coach, encourager, and partner in making big dreams feel possible. He reminds me that our kingdoms magic is worth sharing with the world.

My Fairy Godmother and Co-Princesa, Brooke Beland, the one who helps wave the wand to make our ideas blossom into the most enchanting celebrations. She is my trusted right hand in every royal adventure.

My Royal Council of family and friends has supported me in this dream before the crown was even placed on my head. Your support built the castle we stand in today.

And finally, the Royal Families. The parents who have opened their palace gates to us and trusted us with their little Prince or Princesa’s most special day, you are the heart of our kingdom. Without your trust and joy, there would be no fairytale to tell.
