Meet Bhakti | Owner Tambulya Creations

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bhakti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bhakti, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always been passionate about blending creativity with culture, and I noticed a strong demand for authentic handcrafted jewelry and handmade gifts and decor were hard to find with a personal touch.
The thought process behind starting my business was driven by both passion and observation. I noticed that there was a growing interest in authentic handmade products, but not many accessible platforms that represented them well. I combined my love for cultural craftsmanship with this market opportunity.
Before starting, I researched customer preferences, tested small batches, and validated the idea with real buyers. Once I saw consistent interest, I committed to building the business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Tambulya Creations, is all about celebrating culture through handmade jewelry, crafts, and personalized creations. What sets us apart is our focus on authenticity — blending traditional designs with modern aesthetics — and creating products that carry meaning, not just style.
What I’m most proud of is seeing people wear our creations and feel a personal connection — whether it’s a bride embracing her heritage with a Nath, or someone gifting a customized piece that becomes part of their memory. That emotional connection excites me every single day.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Like most entrepreneurs, I faced challenges — from sourcing quality materials to building a brand with limited resources. There were times when sales were slow, and it was tempting to step back. But I learned to be patient, to innovate with designs, and to rely on digital platforms and community support. Every challenge forced me to grow — as a creator, as a marketer, and as a leader.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that passion has to be balanced with persistence. Creativity opens doors, but discipline, consistency, and listening to customers keep those doors open. I also learned to value small wins — they build the momentum for big milestones.
What I want the world to know about Tambulya Creations is that every piece we make has a story. It’s not mass-produced — it’s crafted with love, rooted in culture, and made to be part of someone’s journey. That’s what makes this business special to me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In my view, the best trip is a mix of culture, food, fun, and hidden gems — not just tourist attractions but also the everyday spots that locals love. That’s what really makes someone feel connected to a place.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I truly believe no one succeeds alone, and I owe a lot of where I am today to the people who supported and guided me.
I’d first dedicate my shoutout to my family, who encouraged me to take risks and believed in my vision when it was just an idea.
To all my customers who gave me new opportunities and projects I learnt a lot in my journey.
