Meet HasanGuy Travels | Brand Content Strategist | Travel Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with HasanGuy Travels and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi HasanGuy, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote or affirmation is: “Take action, stay patient, pray to God…”
This quote is deeply instilled in me and serves as a source of strength during both the highs and lows of life, especially in my journey as a content creator. I truly believe that for most people, taking action is the hardest step. I know from personal experience that in the beginning, I sat on so many ideas without ever bringing them to life. They remained trapped in my mind or in my notes, never seeing the light of day. But early on I learned that no matter what goals I had in life, I’d never be able to achieve them without taking action and turning those ideas into reality.
“Staying patient” comes next in the quote because after taking that first step, patience becomes essential, especially as a creator. I know I speak for many content creators when I say there are moments when you spend hours, sometimes even days, on a single video, only to receive little or no engagement. Putting in so much effort without seeing immediate results can really take a toll on your mental state. That’s why learning to stay patient and trusting that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel has been crucial for me. Patience has helped me stay grounded and positive, knowing that the time and effort I put in will eventually pay off, and I can confirm that I’ve seen just a taste of the fruits of my labor.
“Pray to God” is the most important part of this affirmation. I believe there is no true success without faith. I can put in all the hours, try every strategy, follow every trend, but if I don’t keep my faith at the center of it all and pray for guidance and success, it feels incomplete. Believing that everything happens for a reason and trusting in a higher plan gives meaning to the journey and reminds me there is no success without faith.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a travel creator, and my brand is all about capturing experiences and turning them into content that inspires people to explore and try new things. My biggest why and the reason I am doing all of this is to encourage people that life is short. You’re only 18 once, you’re only 25 once, you’re only 40 once. Go out and enjoy the little time that you have on this earth because there is so much to see. The more you see, the more you experience, and the more you experience, the more moments you get to share with the people you love. “Life is short, use that PTO.”
I think what I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come to build an audience that trusts my opinions. When I first started, I had no clue what I was doing. I was filming on my iPhone 11, trying out different ideas, barely getting views, and honestly questioning if it would ever go anywhere. Now it’s cool to see the number of people who share my content, comment, save, and engage with the brands I work with because they trust me as a creator.
A big lesson I’ve learned along the way is that little views, doesn’t mean little impact. Just because a video doesn’t get 100,000 views doesn’t mean it didn’t reach the right person. You never know who’s watching quietly, getting inspired or encouraged by your content. I’ve had people message me saying a video I posted helped them plan their first trip, inspired them to finally start creating content, or just made their day a little better. That kind of feedback reminds me that the numbers don’t always tell the full story. Now, I focus more on the intention behind my content rather than just chasing views. As long as I’m being authentic and putting out something that could help or inspire even one person, I feel like I’m doing something right.
My goal is to keep creating content that inspires viewers to take action and go on that trip. Whether it’s solo, with friends, or family. Go out there and see the world. So many people would be surprised by what’s even in their own city!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting DFW for a week, I’d make sure they got the full experience from the good eats to the city vibes.
We’d definitely grab BBQ at Terry Black’s, hit up Mylan for some solid Vietnamese food, and go to Coco Shrimp for the best Hawaiian food in the metroplex. For something quick, JJ’s Fish and Chicken never misses. When we’re craving pizza, Serious Pizza is a must for giant slices, or Zio Al’s for a more lowkey but fire option. I don’t personally drink alcohol, so for drinks, I like going to Sharetea and HTeaO for the best tea combos in the city.
For activities and seeing DFW, we’d check out all the major spots in outside of downtown Dallas. I love showing people the best hidden gems in surrounding cities like Grand Prairie, Frisco, Plano, etc. Places like the COSM, Boulder Adventure Park, and OMNI Theater in Fort Worth are some of my favorites.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without a doubt, I want to dedicate my shoutout to my brother. From day one, he has been right there with me on this journey as a travel content creator. He has gone on countless trips with me, captured some of my best footage even when he didn’t have to, and stood by me when there was no real reward in it for him. At the start of my career, when things were uncertain and slow, he stayed patient, believed in the vision, and never once made me feel like I was a nuisance.
Now, it’s such a blessing to be at a point in my career where he gets to tag along with me to go on free trips, stay at some of the nicest Airbnbs, experience incredible activities, and share all these moments together. Being able to enjoy these experiences with him after everything he has done for me makes it even more meaningful.
