We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Danyell Galloway and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley Danyell, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As a Black woman and a homeschooling mom of three, starting my own business wasn’t just a dream, it was a necessity. I needed the flexibility to work around my children’s needs while still pursuing something meaningful. I wanted to create something that not only served others in a real way but also allowed me to lead by example for my kids. To show them what’s possible through dedication, creativity, and purpose. This business is more than work; it’s part of the legacy I’m building for them and proof that we can shape our own path and make room for both family and impact.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I needed flexible work that allowed me to be present with my children, and I wanted to create resources that made homeschooling feel more meaningful, engaging, and inclusive. What began as simple worksheets for my own kids grew into a brand that now supports other families on similar journeys. this is not an easy task trying to balance it all but its something I’m passionate about so i keep going! Co creating a non profit to help other black families see homeschool as an option is just one part of the longer vision.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The Dallas public library I mean its 8 floors!
