Meet Cindy Ruiz | Emprendedora y fisioterapeuta

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Ruiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cindy, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The decision to take this path really took me a little while, because at first I dedicated myself to studying and professionally I am a physiotherapist, although my thing has always been to create. My mother has always been my inspiration because without knowledge of art she works wonders, and that is how I Since I was little I turned everything into something visual, beautiful, or with a different touch. And that was how over time I realized that I did not want a remote job… I wanted to express myself, take something ordinary and turn it into something creative and innovative, and that others could enjoy it too. Creativity is my language, my driving force and my way of leaving my mark. And honestly, what better than doing what you are passionate about and on top of that being able to make a living from it?

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art was born from a desire to transform the everyday into something memorable. I love creating experiences that feel personalized, magical, and full of life, whether through a balloon, a surprise box, or a design that conveys more than it shows. What makes me most proud is seeing one of my ideas become a special moment for someone else. It’s seeing someone smile, get emotional, or feel loved thanks to what I made with my hands and imagination. That’s priceless. It wasn’t easy getting here. Starting out in the creative world is like forging your own path as you walk it. I’ve faced doubts, fear, and exhaustion, but I also discovered I have a strength I didn’t know I had. I learned to be my own boss, designer, strategist, marketer, and dreamer, all at the same time. What helped me overcome the challenges? Believing in my purpose. Constantly reminding myself why I started: to make a living from my art and create something impactful. I also learned to be flexible, to ask for help, to improve every day, and, above all, to never give up even when the road gets steep. Today I want the world to know that my brand isn’t just a business. It’s an extension of me, of my values, of my story. Every product I create has soul, intention, and love. I don’t sell things, I create moments. And my goal is to continue growing, to go further, and to prove that you can make a living from art when you do it with passion and strategy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Of course, there are many people who have supported me on this new path, but mainly there is my mother, Mayra, who from day 1 has not doubted or stopped believing in me, then my husband Gabriel, whom I drive crazy every day with every new thing that occurs to me, but he is always willing to support me, and my sister Luismar, who, although she leads a very busy life, always takes the time to help me when I need it.
