Taking risks came extremely easy in my adolescence years when I held little to no responsibility, especially when it comes to finances and consequences. But when I became an adult, a wife, a mother, those financial risks and unknowns became overwhelming and too much of a gamble. I have always been confident in my passion for knowledge when it came to helping others, but I lacked the sheer leap of faith it took to step out on my own for twenty years. In clinical practice, managing and mitigating risk is part of every decision we make.
