Meet Marie Puebla | Blogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marie Puebla and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, it started with a feeling more than a plan. I was in a season of transition—juggling motherhood, marathon training, school, and trying to find a career path that actually aligned with the life I wanted. I kept thinking, there has to be a way to share this journey and build something meaningful from it.
So I leaned into storytelling. I started sharing the real, unfiltered parts of my life—early morning runs, mom guilt, trying to rebuild after setbacks, all of it. My thought process wasn’t “I’m starting a business,” it was “I’m starting a movement for busy women who want more—more health, more purpose, more freedom.”
As I began to connect with others who resonated with my story, I realized I could turn my content into a community and eventually a business. My goal was never just to make money—it was to create value and build something I wish I had when I first started out.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is a blend of storytelling, community-building, and showing what’s possible when you refuse to settle. I create content through my blog Tips with Marie and across social media, sharing the real, unfiltered experience of being a full-time student, single mom, marathon runner, and woman rebuilding her life from the inside out.
What sets me apart is that I don’t sugarcoat the journey. I talk about the early mornings, the burnout, the doubts, and the discipline. I’m not selling a perfect aesthetic—I’m sharing a lifestyle rooted in growth, healing, and becoming. Whether it’s a blog post about motherhood and identity or a video after a long run, my goal is to remind women that their dreams still matter, even in the chaos.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve had to start over more than once—academically, financially, emotionally. I went from barely passing classes to working toward straight A’s. From working full-time in dental offices to betting on myself and going all-in on my goals. I had to unlearn survival mode and step into a version of me that believes in abundance, worthiness, and alignment.
What helped me overcome those challenges? Discipline, faith, and the belief that small steps create big change. My 5 AM runs became more than a workout—they became proof that I could be consistent, even when no one was watching. Books like “The Mountain Is You” and “The Secret” taught me how to shift my mindset, and my community reminded me I wasn’t alone.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and my brand—it’s that we’re not waiting until life is perfect to show up. I’m building Tips with Marie as a space for the busy, the burned out, the brave—anyone who’s ready to grow and glow through real life, not just around it. I want women to know that healing and hustle can coexist, and that it’s never too late to start over and go after more.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1 – Welcome to My World
We’d kick off with sunrise at White Rock Lake—either a walk or a quick shakeout run (because I am that 5 AM girl, sorry bestie). Then coffee at Merit Coffee in Deep Ellum—lavender matcha or an iced shaken espresso with sweet cream foam. Brunch at Biscuit Bar or Dream Café because we need something indulgent. Dinner that night? HG Sply Co. on the rooftop—great views and clean eats that don’t feel too “healthy.”
Day 2 –
Hot yoga at Align in Lower Greenville to sweat it out and feel reborn. Then we’d head to Highland Park Village for window shopping (and a little actual shopping, let’s be honest). Stop at Bird Bakery for the best little desserts and a girl chat. Later, Velvet Taco for dinner, followed by a chill night in with wine (or mocktails in my sobriety era) and skincare.
Day 3 –
A trip to Bishop Arts District—cute shops, murals, Paradiso for lunch, and walking around just catching up on life. At night, we’d hit up Puttery or Bowlski’s for a fun, not-too-wild night out.
Day 4 –
Early morning run on the Katy Trail, followed by brunch at The Henry or Sixty Vines. We’d spend the day being cute and content-creator-y—filming some fun TikToks or blog stuff. Then dinner at Tei-An or Town Hearth if we’re going bougie.
Day 5 –
We’d hit the Dallas Museum of Art and Klyde Warren Park—maybe grab some food truck tacos and just hang out under the skyline. Catch a sunset and maybe even a rooftop movie night if we can find one.
Day 6 –
Bring the kids along for brunch at First Watch, then hit Perot Museum or Dallas Zoo. That night, we’d do homemade dinner, matching pajamas, and reflect on all our “should we move here?” moments.
Day 7 –
Final coffee at Foxtrot, a slow morning walk, and lots of selfies. Maybe journal together about the trip. Then I’d cry a little and send them off with a list of places they have to come back for.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I don’t believe anyone truly builds anything meaningful alone. My biggest shoutout goes to my sons. They’re the reason I show up on the hard days. They’ve seen me studying late, waking up at 4:30 AM to run, starting over more times than I can count—and they still cheer me on like I’m a superhero.
I also have to shout out my close friends and my tiny but mighty support system—the people who’ve reminded me of my worth when I’ve doubted it and who see the vision even when it’s just scribbles in my journal. There’s one book that changed the way I show up: “The Mountain Is You” by Brianna Wiest. It taught me how self-sabotage shows up in sneaky ways and helped me shift my mindset.
And lastly, to every single woman who’s ever DM’d me saying, “I relate to your story” or “Thank you for sharing this”—you keep me going. This platform exists because I knew I wasn’t the only one trying to build something real while raising kids, healing, and chasing big dreams.
